....think about it first!!!!
We stayed at the palms hotel and spa......it was not my favorite!!! WWaaaayy to far away from the casino!!!! it makes you really decide if you want hike back to the casino or makes you make sure u dont forget anything before leaving your room!!! if you dont have alot of money, this casino isnt for you. seems more for the wealthy, not average joes looking for a good time!!!!we requested a smoking room, cuz it asks you when you make a reservation. upon getting there, we were informed that all rooms are non smoking and we could go down to the lobby to smoke.....they have ash trays right by the elevator!!!!! ummmm i think the smoke will get into the rooms that way.....good thinkin!!! i thought that was kind of dumb!! one reason we got the room was for the tub. just wanted to sit and relax in bath.....well....i got lucky getting one that didnt really work that well. the plug wouldnt stay plugged, so it pretty much ruined the experience. we told the receptionist when checking out and she just apologized......geeee, thanks!!! so all and all, i dont think we will be back.

Very Nice
Great value; much less than comparable hotels on the strip. The Palms Place Tower is where to stay (rooms are fabulous); not the older Palms towers (those rooms need an interior renovation). Casino interior design is a little tired and can use an updating. Sames goes for the casino patrons (a step down form the swankier hotels on the strip such as the Cosmopolitan or the Wynn.) Great nightlife at this hotel. Unfortunately the Playboy club is moving from this location.

Don't order the shuttle from the airport to your hotel from the site as it's less expensive if you buy right at the airport.

I will be staying here again!
At first I was worried about being "off the strip", but it worked out much better than expected. This was my 5th trip to Vegas and my first time staying in a hotel without a Casino... I LOVED IT! I don't gamble, so it was nice to not have to walk thru a casino just to grab a cab. We had 3x 30th Birthdays, so we got upgraded to a corner room suite for an incredible price! It was a bummer that the balcony's did not open, as we had an amazing view from our room. It was nice having a pool at Palms Place separate from the main pool at the Palms Casino. Some of us didn't want to go thru the hassle of fighting for chairs, annoying drunks and loud DJ music. We checked in well before the "check in time" and it was not a problem! Housekeeping was prompt to any request we made. There were no surprise charges on our bill at the end of the trip. Also, if you want to rent a car, Enterprise is literally next door (walking distance) and it's pretty cheap (same price per day as a typical cab ride to the north end of the strip). I only mark 4 stars because of a few minor things: a few large stains on the carpet (spilled drinks?), the balcony's being locked, and slow cab service during the weekdays (not inc Friday). Other than those minor things, our stay was great! I see now why my sister has always recommended staying at Palms Place - I will be staying there again as well!
