Fantastic place to stay!
Palms Place is great for younger couples. There is modern decor, Rojo bar in the lounge, and complete studios. The music in the hall and elevator were a bit loud for our taste, but the room was very quiet. The staff is very friendly. I visited the spa for a massage and it was fantastic and very relaxing. It was too cold to visit the pool, but it looked very nice with cabanas and a pool bar. The rooms all have a full kitchenette with a dishwasher, stove, and microwave which come in handy if you have a night in. There is an indoor walkway to Palms casino and food court which is great. It is off the strip, but still close if you want to go there.

Great for the long term travelor
I was on business and this was a nice place in that I had my own kitchen area and a balcony, which is hard to comeby this close to the strip. Bartendars are fantastic.

Very cool hotel...
Upscale modern rooms with excellent amenities. Comfortable bed and linens, fabulous mini-kitchen, luxurious bath area, 2 flat screen TV's, spacious sitting area and balcony with excellent views of the strip and pool. The hotel is located off of the strip, so a cab ride is needed to most locations, but there is plenty to keep you busy at the Palms campus. Clubs, excellent dining choices, shopping, pool, spa, casino, etc...A very hip hotel that is a bit more upscale than the standard rooms in the main tower. Not your father's hotel!

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
The best shopping is on the strip in some of the other well known hotels, the Palms really just has a few small boutique type spots.

Palms Place Labor Day Weekend
Everything and all you need in one great spot. Close enough to the strip to feel like you're part of the action but far away enough to not get caught lost in the crowd.

Romantic couple getaway
My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary there. We wanted to be far away from the strip that we wouldn't have that 'party' feel; but close enough to it we could enjoy the buffets, shows and other sightes. I throughly enjoyed the quiet calm of the hotel and really like how the skywalk would take you to the Palms casino if that is what you wanted. I will stay here again, especially using online sites to book a studio. Spa treament was a little pricey but well worth the couple's message package

Vegas 2009
The rooms are great. We were celebrating our anniversary and were given a nice room with a view. Checking staff was very helpful and allowed a late checkout after a night of gambling. Unfortunately, their in-room-dining options are not that great. Overall a good hotel but located a taxi ride from the strip (about $10 to bellagio).

Nice view, long walk to main hotel
I fully enjoyed my stay at the Palms Place. Just make sure you realize it's not one of the main towers of the Palms. These rooms have their own kitchen and are ideal for a couple. For me with a friend, the king-size bed was not so great. On the other hand, you do have a balcony overlooking the Strip, something I have never seen in Las Vegas. The room was very nice and had all the ammenities needed - with the TV in the bathroom, you do have a total of 3 flat screens. My biggest complaint would be that you're quite removed from the real Palms and its towers. That's nice, if you want it to be a little bit more laid-back, but if you're going for the true Palms experience, book a room in the towers.

Nightlife tip:

Playboy Club and Casino is very nice, even if the crowd has gotten a little less exciting these days. Still a casino with a view over the strip, or a club that opens its roof at night is hard to find - give it a try.
