Great bar, great restaurants, great room w/kitchenette... This place never disappoints! We live in Vegas and were going to a concert, but don't like to deal w/traffic, so we stayed here. Very good experience and highly recommended!

AMAZING!
Love this place! I stayed at the suite and it was stunning. I was on the 50th floor with a great view of the Vegas strip. The suite looked exactly as it did on the pictures. It was massive! It had a kitchenette, sectional with pull out bed, HUGE bathroom, and super comfortable bed. I don't gamble. I only go to Vegas to party so it was nice walking into the hotel and not being crowded by tourists in slot machines and inhaling second hand smoke. If you want to gamble you can walk over to the Palms main tower. I saw other reviews where people complained about the walk over to the Palms...it's not that bad people. I walked it in 4 inch heels in 40 degree weather and no coat (I'm from Chicago) and it was no more than 5 minutes. I survived. I booked the trip three days prior to leaving and I was still able to get a good deal. The staff if very courteous and helpful. The hotel itself very stylish. I don't mind that it's not on the strip. I actually like it. You can always get in a cab. Why the four stars? They suites have a balcony. I didn't get to enjoy it since they had locked all of their balconies. They said "for security reasons" all balconies were off limits. I was kind of bummed. Another reason I gave it four stars is I ordered cranberry juice around 4:30 am since I was out of it in the minibar (can't have vodka without cranberry juice). I didn't look at the receipt until later that morning but I was charged $44 for two liters of cranberry juice. Really? With gratuity and service charges it came out to $66. My room service lunch the day before was half of that! My minibar could have just been restocked and it would have been way cheaper. Oh well. That's the price you pay when there is a shortage of cranberry juice at 4:30 am and you don't have the proper vodka to cranberry juice ratio. Overall....definitely staying here again! I already booked my trip for April.

like the location
We love the location, off the strip, so we don't have to deal with traffic getting in or out of the hotel. Parking is great, we don't have to park far and walk thru the casino to the elevator. The room decoration is trendy, too bad that the hotel locked the access to the balcony.

Nice room, good service
The rooms are very masculine - wood floors, dark colors - but comfortable. Having hard floors meant I could hear the kids above me running around, but not loudly. For a Vegas hotel, I was impressed by the quiet. They don't allow parties in the rooms, which I appreciated, since I was actually in Vegas for work. I loved the rain showerhead, the bed was comfortable, there was a little kithcen with a fridge to put my own drinks. I ate dinner in and the room service was excellent. The woman on the phone was really nice and the meal was a perfect temperature when it arrived. The two things I didn't like were that the tower I stayed in had really slow elevators and so I got a bigger dose of the "trendy" partiers than I wanted and it cost $30 to use the gym, since it's connected to the spa. In general, it was a good stay, though.

Long walk from hotel
If you need your coffee first thing in the morning, it's a hike through the sky tube to the place where they sell coffee, so I would recommend getting room service coffee.

$30/Person for the fitness center?
I reserved a room at The Palms for my Wife and I as part of a layover between our trip to Lake Havasu City and San Francisco. Before that we spent 3 days at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas and in a honey-mooning couples opinion, the palms while very trendy and flashy isn't the best choice. I picked The Palms as a splurge for the last night in Vegas and since it was around $40 more for one night than Trump International Hotel I expected more. Not so, three things that really got to me; The fitness center listed on the amenities is part of their "spa" so of you want to work out you have to pay $30/person for a day pass to the spa just to use the gym. I went for a run outside instead, the pool was closed (the Trump's was not) and the balcony was locked "for the season." In the end I was left wondering what was I paying more for? Those three things made the experience not so good. The staff was really good though and there was a really good sushi bar across the street so everything wasn't too bad :-/

Great hotel and location
I was in Vegas on business. I like the strip, but I don't like staying ON the strip. Palms Place is the perfect location to experience the strip, but not have to put up with the hassle of the strip. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff great, services ALL perfect. I won't hesitate to book here my next trip to Vegas.
