If the price is right...

I got a great rate on the room so stayed there for a few nights. The hotel is located several blocks from the strip, too far walking distance but the Palms did have a lot to offer. Our room was in the older tower where the walls seemed to be paper thin. We could hear the partiers in the next room, loud music and all. The room was clean for the most part but I did left the blanket on one of the beds and there was an empty bottle of Coke under the bed. As far as gambling goes there were more slots then tables in the main casino. If you can get the room really cheap then go for it but if its about the same prices for hotels on the strip like Harrahs then stay there. Its much better then Imperial Palace though!

first time in vegas with the boyfriend

it wasn't on the strip, so that was very inconvenient. stayed at the hotel most of the time, but being with the boyfriend made up for it. breakfast from room service was awesome, or maybe it was because we were really hungry, cause the buffet breakfast sucked.

Go for the clubs but Don't Stay

This Hotel although nice is a bit overrated. Although the nightclubs and bars are great Location to strip is a hassle. The rooms are small and conservative but the view was good. There are two towers and I stayed at the original Palms so I'm not speaking for the newer tower. *Positive aspects: Rain, Moon, and Ghostbar. All three alone would be worth the trip to Palms. For only $30 dollar (which is reasonable for Las Vegas standards)you get a pass for all three clubs. The view from Moon and Ghostbar are incredible and if you like a good show with top DJ's then Rain is your place. *Negative aspects: Rooms are small. Pool is over crowded limited seating that doesn't cost extra. LOCATION. 25-30min walk from strip. $12.00 one way cab ride to strip. Driving to the strip sucks during peak traffic times and there was a lot of construction when we were there.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

*Tip- free shuttle from Rio (which is 5 min walk from Palms) runs to Paris Hotel located on the strip. The shuttle runs till 1:00am. I would do this if you wanted to save a little money instead of paying for a cab.

Palms Casino Resort

The room was average , no coffee pot or refrigerator was avaliable for personal use. This I was told was an effort to make you use room service, consumable item in your room that is moved is automatically charged to your bill ( most of these items were dusty and not very enticing ). Another thing that was not mentioned - another hundred dollars was taken from our account per day ( I guess in case we ate too much dust laden food or could'nt controll our gambling ). Not impressed with the hotel or their desire to extort money from their guests.

Vegas Party Spot

Honestly The Palms was not as "nice" as I thought it would be. The casino there was a little pitiful, the restaurants were overpriced for the quality of the food, and I did not get one good nights sleep on the uncomfortable bed with scratchy linens. I would not suggest this hotel for families, but if you are looking for a party (as most are in Vegas) then this place is the spot! The pool parties were incredible, I've never seen anything like it, and the clubs in the hotel were great! Going on a holiday weekend the entry prices for the clubs were a bit high, but nonetheless we had a great time! We also saw a couple of celebrities which was a nice addition. Over all I would not want to stay at The Palms again, but I would definitely go there to party!

The Forum at Caesars Palace is a quick drive down the street and over a bridge; we go shopping here every year and they have every store you could ever imagine. If you love shopping you will be in heaven here!

Too generic

The rooms were very generic for the price paid. Had to take cabs to strip because hotel didn't offer shuttle service. View was nice. No free intrance into clubs even though we were staying there. Would NOT stay there again!
