Ultra cool

Hip with a young crowd and a cool vibe. Understated design - hardwood floors, neutral colors - very classy. Rooms are typical (unless you spring for the suites), but the pool is great. We floated all day, drinks in hand. Very relaxing, but watch out for friday afternoon - the pool opens to the public for the ditch fridays party. Must have been a thousand people. Still, it didn't seem overcrowded and was a lot of fun.

The Palms Casino room was ...

The Palms Casino room was clean and very comfortable. The Hotel/Casino was small compared to the others on the strip, which made it nice to find areas quick. The beds were cozy. The bathroom was large with a nice shower/bath. The only refrigerator was the mini bar (a regular refrigerator would have been nice to store water). The closet had a light with a full length mirror on the door. Since the hotel is off the strip, transportation is necessary (we had our own car). The Nine Steakhouse was very good. Security guarded the elevators to the rooms (room key cards had to be shown to access the elevators). The Movie Theater and food court were inside the hotel which is nice for families. We enjoyed the stay and would go back.

On Your Own

Walking into Palms was confusing. You are hit with the casino immediately and I had no idea which way to turn. Eventually I found the front desk and asked the concierge a question that seemed to annoy her. I was pretty much on my own to figure out what to do and where to go. I was early and needed the bell captain to hold my suitcase for awhile. Service was spotty. While the concierge was rude the bell captain was nice. The people at the pool treated me as if I was invisible but the man at the front desk was very nice. My room was ready earlier than check in which was great but there was an alarm in the next room that was on continuously and I had a hard time resting. I did call housekeeping and they eventually sent someone up to turn it off an hour later. The room was nice and big and clean with a good view. The bathroom could have used a fan and better lighting for putting on my makeup but the amenities were really good. I especially liked the eye drops. Nice touch in such a smokey atmosphere as Vegas. I was desperate to watch HBO but no one either at the front desk or in housekeeping knew which channel it was on the remote. Again I figured it out. By the end of my stay I didn't ask too many questions to the hotel staff and contunied to figure things out for myself.

Awesome

Entertainment at its best! We loved our minimalist style suite. The staff was down to earth and very attentive. We also loved the convenience of having various dining options and nightlife right at our fingertips. One huge plus was the movie theater along with the fast food court. The pool and casino areas were a party, all in itself. If you are going to Vegas to have a great time, the Palms is the place to stay.

Great time at the Palms!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The pool here was great!! Plenty of seating and spacious. The pool staff was not as friendly as the front desk and other areas of the hotel, but still a great time. The Ghost bar and it's view was very nice. It would be better if there were more Black Jack tables, but overall the hotel was nice. I had a great time there.

great clubs in the hotel, friendly.

The beds were so comfortable, I think thats really important when staying in the hotel. Room service was great. The location is good,I like the fact that the bell men are very helpful, on top of everything, thats excellent. I loved the Playboy Casino, its awesome. I loved the Budah restaurant. What I didnt like was that you had to stand in line for the pool I thought that was stupid. Over all, I enjoyed my stay at the Palms , and would love to come back.
