The Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino, opened in 2007, is one of the newer Las Vegas Strip accommodations. Sister resort to the Venetian, the curved tower block is framed by European-style bridges, Classical-style vaults, and Baroque-style staircases. There are more than 105,000-square-feet of casino space for those looking to try their luck. For those seeking less Sin City-centric pleasures, the shopping sanctuary of Barney's, the rejuvenating Canyon Ranch SpaClub, or the hotel's own rock-climbing wall are available. Food-wise, guests can try everything from Maine lobster to slow-cooked Indian Snake at Wolfgang Puck's gastronomic CUT Steakhouse.
Key facts
  • 3,068 suites
  • 32 restaurants (at the Palazzo and the Venetian) include: LAVO, CUT Steakhouse, Noodle Asia and Lagasse's Stadium
  • Poolside dining
  • In-suite dining
  • 7 pools
  • 4 hot tubs
  • Cabana rental
  • 4 theaters
  • The Shoppes at the Palazzo
  • Casino
Neighborhood
Situated between The Wynn and the Venetian Hotel & Casino, the Palazzo holds a prominent center-Strip position, great for both the adrenaline of Las Vegas Boulevard and the neon vintage of Fremont Street. And, being close to East Flamingo Road, there's also easy access to east Lake Las Vegas, a manmade lake where celebrities like Celine Dion have been known to escape the rush.
Hints and tips
For an unforgettable breakfast experience, book a suite overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and head down to the Grand Lux Cafe on the casino level.

Grab a fresh coffee and some flaky pastries to take back to your room, while enjoying views of the city from the comfort of your luxury suite.

Problems with checking in

We arrived at the hotel at 3:00PM. The room itself was nice enough, but the TV in the bathroom was positioned so you could not view it while soaking in the tub. The bathroom was not stocked with many amenities that are usually standard. The mall connected to the hotel had a nice mix of stores and lead right into the Venetian. That was very convenient. With all of the high-end options available in Las Vegas I would not recommend this hotel.

Palazzao

Needed more pillows and the make up mirror did not work. Ate at table 10 - disappointing. we also ate at Morels' - very good. The Coffee bean and Leaf was run by utter incompetents. Jersey Boys was fabulous!

Great Hotel!

I loved the location. It was just across the fashion show mall and the bus stop was in front of the hotel. If you want to use the express bus, then all you need to do is go over Wynn hotel using the bridge. Most hotel personnel were great, but one lady at the entrance, who handles baggages, were so useless. She doesn't know what her job is and she needs to relearn customer service.

Good Relaxation Hotel

It is a bit off the central of the strip. Thye service is great, and the tidiness is real good. The casino is spacious, The only drwaback is a bit too far away from the central of the Strip

Great hotel

My daughter and I stayed at the Palazzo after New Years to relax. The room was very spacious and the bedding very nice. We asked for a few of the amenities that were not present, like a shower cap etc, and the maid was so kind and really stocked up everything for us the next day. All staff was very friendly. We used the pool on the 3rd floor each day for a little sunshine and break. It was very clean and lots of chairs and pleasant staff. The casino was the least smoky of all we visited and the Lux restaurant in the lobby provided affordable meals. All in all a great stay and would stay at the Palazzo again.

A little bit of Italy in Las Vegas

The representative who checked us in was fantastic as were the gym and spa staff. Unfortunately, the condescending bartender at the champagne bar (who spoke negatively of other customers after they left, and who made comments such as: Did you read the coupon? Didn't anyone tells you how it works here?) along with a curt cocktail waitress (next time make sure you don't move around after you order because we have specific sections here) left a bit of a sour taste in an otherwise great experience. The rooms were great and the Canyon Ranch Spa is top notch.

Girls Weekend

Beautiful hotel and tons of amenities. Shopping and restaurants were all fantastic, especially Bouchon. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was the smoothest I have encountered in any resort in Vegas. Will stay here again.
