Sassy, but Classy
Unlike its sister hotel, The Venetian, the Palazzo offers a more modern version of its enviable suites. I would venture to say that they almost have the same floor plan, but the Palazzo feels more upscale (less old-world Italian). Everything about our stay was extremely enjoyable: - Friendly and informative guest services; - Quick to respond to in-suite requests (like extra towels or cups); - Beautiful suite layout with lots of room to spare; - Bathroom products (shampoo, soap, etc.) I actually enjoy using and love the smell of; - Getting around the hotel is simple because the casino layout is easy to maneuver and you know where everything is; - **Canyon Ranch Spa** and neighboring facilities were totally worth the extra daily fee; - Location was perfect (walking distance to Mirage, TI, Wynn and Encore); - Walgreens conveniently located outside the Shoppes; - Shoppes at Palazzo -- so much fun!!; - Must try First Bar & Grill on the 2nd floor of Shoppes (especially the Cheesy Grits); - Easy check-out process. If there is anything that I did not like, it was Morels Restaurant. Overpriced for food that would have tasted better anywhere else. They're masking themselves as a high-class restaurant, but it didn't work. Food was nothing to brag about and I felt guilty paying. I could have gone to a neighboring steakhouse, paid the same price, and would not have felt the guilt.

Money-saving tip:
In Hotel
If you're checking in late, ask about suite upgrades because you might save yourself some money in getting a larger suite than if you had booked that large to begin with. This all depends on availability the night you check in, of course, but it never hurts to ask. When we checked in late the first night and inquired about upgrade, the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly in negotiating a 65%+ discount for the upgrade. Sweet!

Vegas in Palazzo style!
Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. Room service was quite slow, but other than that, a tremendous experience and I would not hesitate to stay again. Pool was a bit crowded, not really meant for any serious cardio swimming, but more as a place to chill, people watch, and get out of the heat. They did have a smaller pool which was more family oriented. We did take advantage of the day spa at Canyon ranch, as well as saw Phantom. The dining at both the Grand Luxe Cafe (makers of Cheesecake factory) as well as Dos Caminos (upscale Mexican food)was spot on delicious.[...] Too many good things about the Palazzo not to make it one of our favorite Vegas hotels.

Palazzo charges you a $17 resort fee which includes use of the pool, newspaper, and small fitness area. In order to use the Canyon Ranch Day Spa you have to pay $20 more, which gives you daily access (6am to 8pm) to an upscale steam, sauna, hot tub, experience showers, and you also get access to a much bigger fitness area and a rock climbing facility (extra fee) that is in the Venetian.

Great Location to Sands and Fashion Show
I arrived a day earlier than my wife for a tradeshow. The location is fantastic to Sands Expo, Fashion Show Mall, and the Palazzo Upscale shopping. The location of our room, right off the elevator, was noise with drunks arriving at 4am. The Flat screen tv in the bath did not work and trying to sync my i-pod touch to wi fi was difficult at best! The resort fee was a way for Palazzo, to circumvent higher prices. Other than that the Hotel was very bit of what you would expect from a 5 star property!!

Great Location!
The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful on all levels...from the bellman to the concierge. Our room was clean and beautiful. The beds were much more comfortable than any other hotel room bed I have ever slept on. I sleep on a Sleep Number bed at home and always have trouble being away from my bed, but this was an exceptional mattress. I was disappointed that there was not a coffee pot in the room as my daughter and I both like to have coffee in the morning before we get dressed. There was also not a hair dryer! I had left mine at home because of the airline weight regulations. Had it not been for my daughter bringing hers, I would have had a problem. Also, I expected there to be free Wifi service for the price we paid for the room. Having recently stayed at a 4- Diamond hotel in San Antonio, Tx and paying just about the same amount for the room, I felt we didn't get as many amenities in the room as we did in San Antonio.

Short walk from hotel
The Wynn Hotel's Saturday and Sunday Brunch is out of this world. We went on Saturday and wish we had gone back on Sunday. Set price for a buffet with a couple of hundred items on it, including more than a dozen dessert items; another slightly higher price for the buffet with all you can care to drink, champagne, mimosas, or Bloody Marys. We sat for two hours enjoying a wonderful meal.
