The Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino, opened in 2007, is one of the newer Las Vegas Strip accommodations. Sister resort to the Venetian, the curved tower block is framed by European-style bridges, Classical-style vaults, and Baroque-style staircases. There are more than 105,000-square-feet of casino space for those looking to try their luck. For those seeking less Sin City-centric pleasures, the shopping sanctuary of Barney's, the rejuvenating Canyon Ranch SpaClub, or the hotel's own rock-climbing wall are available. Food-wise, guests can try everything from Maine lobster to slow-cooked Indian Snake at Wolfgang Puck's gastronomic CUT Steakhouse.
Key facts
  • 3,068 suites
  • 32 restaurants (at the Palazzo and the Venetian) include: LAVO, CUT Steakhouse, Noodle Asia and Lagasse's Stadium
  • Poolside dining
  • In-suite dining
  • 7 pools
  • 4 hot tubs
  • Cabana rental
  • 4 theaters
  • The Shoppes at the Palazzo
  • Casino
Neighborhood
Situated between The Wynn and the Venetian Hotel & Casino, the Palazzo holds a prominent center-Strip position, great for both the adrenaline of Las Vegas Boulevard and the neon vintage of Fremont Street. And, being close to East Flamingo Road, there's also easy access to east Lake Las Vegas, a manmade lake where celebrities like Celine Dion have been known to escape the rush.
Hints and tips
For an unforgettable breakfast experience, book a suite overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and head down to the Grand Lux Cafe on the casino level.

Grab a fresh coffee and some flaky pastries to take back to your room, while enjoying views of the city from the comfort of your luxury suite.

Great Location to Sands and Fashion Show

I arrived a day earlier than my wife for a tradeshow. The location is fantastic to Sands Expo, Fashion Show Mall, and the Palazzo Upscale shopping. The location of our room, right off the elevator, was noise with drunks arriving at 4am. The Flat screen tv in the bath did not work and trying to sync my i-pod touch to wi fi was difficult at best! The resort fee was a way for Palazzo, to circumvent higher prices. Other than that the Hotel was very bit of what you would expect from a 5 star property!!

Palazzo king suite

This place was nice to stay at, it has lots of marble and fancy stuff. there were a few things i didn't like, The mini bar has zero room to put your own beverages in, the TV in the bath room doesnt have the same channels as the ones in the room. over all it was a great place to stay at , the bed was super comfortable , the bath room had a large tub, and shower, separate vanity for the wife. The shower water pressure left something to be desired, i felt that a room of this quality would have 2 shower heads or something special, the water pressure was a bit lacking. over all i would recommend a stay here

Great escape

Hotel is located in a strategic part of the Strip. The decor of the lobby is very original and beautiful. Our room was spacious and with nice view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was poor maid service.

Eat outside of the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel are super pricy. You can walk across the street and eat great food for much cheaper.

Great Hotel

We were amazed when we walked in. Gorgeous room, sunken living room and a bathroom to die for. I do have a few small complaints, but nothing that would keep me from going back. One of the doors to our main bathroom did not shut. This was a bit annoying if you want complete privacy. We put out the "Do not disturb" sign and found out that this does not mean housekeeping will not knock on your door at 9:00am. After reading through the hotel book, I found you can actually lock out all keys. Not ideal unless you are in the room. The internet access was spotty for the $17 a day that you pay. There were two lamps in the room that had minds of their own and a make-up mirror that did not work. Overall, I loved the hotel and casino and would not hesitate to book here again.

New but service related issues

Beautiful facility. But, lack of follow-through by some staff members. At check-in, I requested a Vase for flowers I had brought with me. The front desk called for a vase; it never appeared for the entire 4 day stay. We found 1/2 can of energy drink behind the curtains (on the windowsill), hangers and paper clips in the floor, and 4 upholstered buttons missing the covers (with very sharp edges)on this <6 month old facility. The housekeeping department replaced the kitchen, but left us the energy drink (not sure why). Other than in my room, I could not find any quiet areas in the common areas-for a few minutes of peace and quiet.

Great hotel, good price

We booked this hotel originally because the 2-queen bed suites are great for a lot of people to share a room. To our surprise we got upgraded at check in to a huge suite on the penthouse floor! Obviously this doesn't happen often, but it made our stay that much more enjoyable!
