Great Family Vacation

Everything was amazing except for room cleanliness, our room wasn't cleaned in two days despite me calling two times a day.

This place has pretty much everything you need

You would be hard pressed to not be able to find something to do here. You have so many options and if you came to see Las Vegas there could be a good chance that you do not make it out of the Hotel. Best- Riley

On the Vegas Strip

The hotel is centrally located on the stip. Keep in mind, Vegas is just like Texas - everything is BIG in Texas. With a little effort most of the desirable hotels are within walking distance (15 - 20 minutes). These include the Bellagio, the Paris, Treasure Island, the Wynn. The scenery is great (pirate ship battles, gondola rides, etc.) but the hustlers on the street incessantly hound you when you are walking the strip. They try to hand out pornographic material and try to coerce you into buying excersions and show tickets. Not a good place to bring your kids.

Nightlife tip: Long walk from hotel

Visit the Petrussian bar at the Bellagio (piano bar off the lobby). The bartender Michael has been there 10 years and makes the BEST lemon drop martinis ever. My wife and I visit once a year just to have a drink.

Sassy, but Classy

Unlike its sister hotel, The Venetian, the Palazzo offers a more modern version of its enviable suites. I would venture to say that they almost have the same floor plan, but the Palazzo feels more upscale (less old-world Italian). Everything about our stay was extremely enjoyable: - Friendly and informative guest services; - Quick to respond to in-suite requests (like extra towels or cups); - Beautiful suite layout with lots of room to spare; - Bathroom products (shampoo, soap, etc.) I actually enjoy using and love the smell of; - Getting around the hotel is simple because the casino layout is easy to maneuver and you know where everything is; - **Canyon Ranch Spa** and neighboring facilities were totally worth the extra daily fee; - Location was perfect (walking distance to Mirage, TI, Wynn and Encore); - Walgreens conveniently located outside the Shoppes; - Shoppes at Palazzo -- so much fun!!; - Must try First Bar & Grill on the 2nd floor of Shoppes (especially the Cheesy Grits); - Easy check-out process. If there is anything that I did not like, it was Morels Restaurant. Overpriced for food that would have tasted better anywhere else. They're masking themselves as a high-class restaurant, but it didn't work. Food was nothing to brag about and I felt guilty paying. I could have gone to a neighboring steakhouse, paid the same price, and would not have felt the guilt.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

If you're checking in late, ask about suite upgrades because you might save yourself some money in getting a larger suite than if you had booked that large to begin with. This all depends on availability the night you check in, of course, but it never hurts to ask. When we checked in late the first night and inquired about upgrade, the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly in negotiating a 65%+ discount for the upgrade. Sweet!

Wonderful Stay At A Perfect Place

Hotel was great with a wonderful staff that did above and beyond all our requests. The staff was very informed about all of Las Vegas and the surrounding attractions like the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Casino prices were inline with some of the cheaper hotels during the daytime hours with good service on the floor. The dining inside Palazzo was very expensive, but with the coupons you get came out ok and food was good.

Nice hotel

Nice room layout. Staff was quick to respond to my every need. Parking garage never got crowded, even on a Friday night on a holiday weekend. And with your stay at Palazzo, you get full access to the pool at The Venetian as well.
