The Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino, opened in 2007, is one of the newer Las Vegas Strip accommodations. Sister resort to the Venetian, the curved tower block is framed by European-style bridges, Classical-style vaults, and Baroque-style staircases. There are more than 105,000-square-feet of casino space for those looking to try their luck. For those seeking less Sin City-centric pleasures, the shopping sanctuary of Barney's, the rejuvenating Canyon Ranch SpaClub, or the hotel's own rock-climbing wall are available. Food-wise, guests can try everything from Maine lobster to slow-cooked Indian Snake at Wolfgang Puck's gastronomic CUT Steakhouse.
Key facts
  • 3,068 suites
  • 32 restaurants (at the Palazzo and the Venetian) include: LAVO, CUT Steakhouse, Noodle Asia and Lagasse's Stadium
  • Poolside dining
  • In-suite dining
  • 7 pools
  • 4 hot tubs
  • Cabana rental
  • 4 theaters
  • The Shoppes at the Palazzo

Neighborhood
Situated between The Wynn and the Venetian Hotel & Casino, the Palazzo holds a prominent center-Strip position, great for both the adrenaline of Las Vegas Boulevard and the neon vintage of Fremont Street. And, being close to East Flamingo Road, there's also easy access to east Lake Las Vegas, a manmade lake where celebrities like Celine Dion have been known to escape the rush.
Hints and tips
For an unforgettable breakfast experience, book a suite overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and head down to the Grand Lux Cafe on the casino level.

Grab a fresh coffee and some flaky pastries to take back to your room, while enjoying views of the city from the comfort of your luxury suite.

very nice hotel - room a little noisy

Excellent hotel - you could go to Vegas for a week and never leave the building! Amazing facilities and big room. Our only gripe was the sound proofing was not as good as other hotels we've stayed at in Vegas. Any conversation in the corridors was easily heard and the air con made a sound all night even when switched off. The air con issue wasn't a big deal but when you're jet lagged and need to sleep hearing drunken conversations outside your door at 3am is not great! We could also hear music coming from other rooms, again not a big deal but this isn't something we've experienced elsewhere in Vegas. When checking in we suggest you ask for a room away from the lifts and a high floor away from the giant compressors on the roof of the convention centre that hum all day and night.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Lavo is an excellent venue - very cool. However the food doesn't live up to the surroundings. Eat somewhere else and go back for a drink later!

Ok for a 5 star hotel

As expected of a 5-star hotel. We found Wynn and a few others to be more exciting. Perhaps it is the Italian style.

Posh .. but just ok

The suite (720 SQ Ft) was undeniably over the top with the marble, granite and rich wood trim. Oh yes and the 3 TVs. We stayed one night to get the feel of Italy, and we were not dissapointed. The hotel and the connecting hotel, the Venitian were spectacular in their replication of some of Italy's splendor. However not as good as the real thing. I was dissapointed in the non-stop attempt to get your money. For the price of the room, you would expect maybe a free bottle of water or some snacks.. the snacks and water were there .. but at an outrageous price..I also felt that the staff was very detached and impersonal. Next time I will opt for a less expensive, less opulant room and enjoy the sights by walking from place to place. The value , in my opinion, does not justify the price.

Best for the value

Excellent service starts with the valet service to park the car. Multiple restaurants with excellent food. Only few things to complain - the air-conditioner shuts off or goes up to 73deg at night even though it was set to 70 deg. Watch out the self check out. Once you push the button the plastic key does not work any more. So do it as the very last thing before you leave. Will recommend to any one who wants to get a relaxing vacation.

Dining tip: In Hotel

The Grand Lux and the Noodle Shop is excellent. For dinner the Lava is great at Palazzo. The Buchon at Venitian is also another excellent place for dinner - a bit of walking from Palazzo but worth it.

Wedding location- nice stay

When we first checked in, the attendant was amazing. She was very helpful. We felt very comfortable at the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and not snotty/pretentious. The bed was SO comfortable- what kind of mattress was that? The work out room was great. Would love to check out the spa if we return to Vegas. We only wish we could have found the pool earlier. Thank you, Juli Blauwkamp/Ron Haga

Great hotel but facillities expensive

Hotel amenities in the room are lagging except for fridge full of hotel products and no coffee maker in the room. One has to order for minimum 1 liter of coffe in room service for over $16 ! Amazing. However the hotel rooms are comfortable and not noisy. Hotel is near to all actions and shows and night life. Staff is very helpful. Overall good experience.
