Not Recommend to Friend

I have stayed in numerous hotels in Las Vegas which includes many both on and off the strip and this is the first time I have came away saying under no circumstances will I stay at the Palace Station again. I was charged a $5.40 fee for the shuttle to the strip even though I had no plans to use the shuttle or go to the strip, I was told everyone is charged this fee whether they use the shuttle or not. The way the rooms are laid out to try to find the exits from the courtyard portion of the hotel is extremely difficult. Room was adequate size and fairly well maintained. We had a room with 2 double beds and one was messed up in the middle as if someone had laid on it for a while. Finally, the hotel personnel were some of the most unfriendly, discourteous personnel I have ever worked with. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE AND WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.

Horrible experience with bed bugs as guests

This was a horrible experience! The desk clerk was rude and didn't listen to my request for a quiet room. Instead he put me in a room next to the pool where 10+ children were playing until 10pm. I asked to move to another room which took 45 minutes and the room I was switched to was just down the hall. I was bit by bed bugs there. I had 2 welts the next day under my chin. This room was also near the pool but had additional noise because it was next to the stairs. The worst experience ever! I knew not to expect much but this was just horrible!!

No Rest For The Weary

We have stayed at the Palace Station dozens of times and are usually satisfied. They used to do nice things like upgrade our room for free and for the money they used to have the best buffet in town. This last stay, however, was horrible. We couldn't stomach any of the food at the buffet and did nothing but run up and down the hallways and stairs throughout our entire stay, a four night stay! Not all was a loss though, the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing.

the worst Las Vegas stay ever!!

Ground floor room. When we checked in I noticed the window was wide open behind a closed curtain. Anyone could have crawled thru the window. Room was not clean..the last people's left overs were in the top drawer. The staff I spoke with were rude and unwilling to accomodate in any way. We also were right aross an alley from the 24hour dumpster. And there was 24hr construction in the room above us. This was THEE worst stay I have ever had in Las Vegas.

Rip-off rooms

The hotel was nice looking, good rooms and staff friendly. Forced to pay a $16.00 daily fee for internet/phone use whether you use it or not. Room service charged for tip and didn't let me know until after I got the bill, so I tipped cash also. No towels by poolside and shuttle service to the strip in Vegas only provided at night, they imply that it's a 24 hr service.

Not Impressed

The staff, especially the reception, were not helpful and some what rude. We asked for some special accommodations because we were traveling with 2 handicapped people. They were unwilling to help us out. The hotel price may be cheap but they charge an extra $17 fee per night for certain amenities, that in my opinion should be included in the price. They treat the guests in the courtyard like 3rd rate, which isn't hard to believe with some of the questionable characters coming in at odd hours. I would suggest paying for a higher priced hotel room that doesn't charge you an extra fee each day and treats their guests with respect. The made service was friendly and kept the room clean. Don't expect any frills or extras with this hotel. Location was not far from the strip, which was good.

PALACE STATION HOTEL VEGAS

DIDN'T LIKE THE COURTYARD ROOMS. BUILDING WAS VERY UGLY WORST THAN A MOTEL 8, IF I KNEW I WAS GOING TO BE SENT TO THE SMALL TWO STORY BUILDING, FOR SURE I WOULDN'T STAYED THERE. I DIDN'T LIKE THAT THEY ADVERTISE A PRICE, THEN THEY CHARGED EXTRA FOR HOTEL SERVICE FEE.

Palace Station Hotel

The hotel room that I was in was located next to the driveway where the large delivery trucks backed up to the loading dock. The view was this driveway and the concrete wall of the next building. Although the shower looked like it was newly remodeled, there was only a 1" lip around the shower pan. After taking a shower, water had escaped from the shower pan and had flooded almost to the doorway.
