CityCenter's spruced-up neighbor keeps it fun and classy
"Unpretentiously luxurious" is the catchphrase used by Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, and it definitely holds true. This Las Vegas hotel pays homage to one of Europe's most lavish sites, but its new restaurants, bars, entertainers and penthouse-level boutique HOTEL32 mean you can use the words "opulent" and "swanky" in the same breath. Good value for the money
Overall, the hotel provides good value for the money. The location is very convenient since there are some small stores, e.g. Walgreen's nearby. Also, there is a free train service to Crysal and Bellagio. However, there is one show called "The Blue Man Group", but it wasn't that interesting and the buffet is only available on the weekends.

best two days of my life.
even though i did not spend much time in my hotel,the staff were very friendly and very helpful.the room was very clean and i would defo stay here again.my top tip is whenever your walking down the strip is to ignore the people trying to sell you stuff because if your like me and find it hard to say no then you will be stood around day and you will not be able to see all of vegas,also bellagio fountain show is well worth the watch but it has to be at night time,its a five minute walk from the monte carlo.

i would highly recommend the helicopter ride around the grand canyon.if you do this then do the sunset one at the end of the day,it costs about three hundred dollars which sounds alot but the flight is for a hour and a half.its worth every penny and you get picked up from your hotel and dropped back to your hotel.

Good for the money
I had a good time at the hotel. It is a pretty good hotel in a very good spot if you like to walk on the strip. It is a good value (better than some of the cheap hotels in the center of the strip) but does lack that special something Aria and Wynn both have. If you are on a budget, I highly recommend staying here. If you want a complete Vegas experience, I would dish out more cash for the nicer places.

We went for the marathon. Could have catered to the runners but overall was a good choice. Relatively quiet with comfortable beds.

I stayed four nights. The staff was very friendly and the maids did a great job. My only negative comment is you can only connect to the internet via their ethernet cords, as the hotel does not have wireless.

Friendly service and great location
We stayed at the Monte Carlo for the Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon and it was perfect for the starting and ending locations. The staff was friendly and helpful providing us with extra towels and water bottles and helping us with all the other requests and questions we had. Their rooms are clean and sufficiently large. We used the tram so much, it was quite a blessing after running a half marathon. I would stay here again. Oh their gym could use a little cleaning up. There were dust bunnies under the weights and the mats had seen better days. The rest of the equipment was fine.

Good all round hotel,staff good and polite rooms good for age of hotel as the older hotels tend to get shabby. Buffet good. Lots of new hotels springing up on the Strip but would use Monte Carlo again

location location on the strip
Very good location for walking or catching the free tram. Food court on the 1st floor, Denny's across the street, Walgreens, ABC and CVS with in walking distance. High end restaruants in the casino, clean and friendly staff. This is my second stay this year without a problem. PS. Covered parking with easy access to the main lobby. PPS. In the 70s each day, the pool area only has sun for 2 hours at this time of the year but they have a heated pool and jaccuzi.
