CityCenter's spruced-up neighbor keeps it fun and classy
"Unpretentiously luxurious" is the catchphrase used by Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, and it definitely holds true. This Las Vegas hotel pays homage to one of Europe's most lavish sites, but its new restaurants, bars, entertainers and penthouse-level boutique HOTEL32 mean you can use the words "opulent" and "swanky" in the same breath. Thought It would be much better than this.
Staff are nice and the hotel seems to be super nice at first, but you will be told after you arrive there that a 20 dollars plus tax will be charged to your credit card even if your reservation was prepaid online. Another disappointment is that there is no wireless internet in the hotel. Breakfast is not included and overall, the room is nothing like the pictures shown. I would stay there again but only if the price is less than $70 a night. Otherwise, It's not worth it

The Full Monte Carlo
Great hotel. Casino floor layout is better than most LV hotels. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The desk chairs were bad. Springs were shot. Hotel location is great. Cross the street and you can shop or go to a movie. (Theatre behind Dennys). Go deluxe and get a room with a view. You won't regret it.

Good room for vegas
It was a clean room and I was happy with that. It was a trip to Vegas and it was all about location for me. The Monte Carlo worked for me. The big bonus.....Starbucks on the 1st floor.

Rooms Need refurbishing
Older style hotel. Nice food court. Walls are thin and the noise from the plumbing is very loud in the rooms, Which could all do with a makeover. Swimming pool ok but sunny spots are limited and vary to the time of day. Pool closes too early. Taxis were not frequent at the front lobby either. Not a bad hotel just a little dated.

Fun time in Vegas
Staff was nice, room clean. $20 per day resort fee doesn't pay for much. Pool doesn't get sunshine all day. Compared to other Vegas hotels, casino smoke smell is minimal. No smoke smell in the room.

where is the WIFI
After getting off a long trip with little to no WIFI....was surprised that there was no WIFI....when you can get free wifi in a cheap motel....what gives in Vegas?

Well there are many better hotels on the strip but for this price catageory its ok. Overall and average hotel and if you are looking for a cheaper hotel on the strip and you dont mind some small problems than its ok but otherwise dont look.
