quite disappointed in the hotel
Loud, raucous, many, many noisy young people. Room was no better than a very average motel. Not even a coffee pot. Sink did not drain.

Could've been better
We stayed at the Monte Carlo deluxe room for three days and two nights. The outside of the hotel and the inside of the lobby were appealing. My impression was a very high class hotel with very helpful employees. But once I set foot into the seventh floor deluxe room, I felt like I walked into an average hotel. The furniture was a bit dated. The tv was just a regular 32" tv from like 10 years ago. From the adjoining door to the next room, we could hear every sound and every argument the couple next door made (which wasn't too bad since the drama made up for the lack of channels on tv). Another interesting note, the toilet was so freakin' loud when it flushed. It was just like the toilet on an airplane (which was a problem for us whenever my toddler was asleep). I also wished they offered a fridge and even a microwave or at least those coffee makers (to store baby food or to even sterilize my toddler's bottles). It would have helped make our stay a little more enjoyable. The most enjoyable part of my stay though was the view of the new Aria hotel and the CityCenter. It was just the most amazing view...and everytime I saw that hotel, I kept thinking that the Aria hotel may be a more perfect fit for me and my family than the Monte Carlo on our next visit to Las Vegas.

The Monte Carlo is connected via a tram with the Aria hotel and the Bellagio. So rather than walking along the Strip between these hotels, take the tram and enjoy the ride.

Not happy!
I was advised this hotel had high speed internet. When attempting to connect to the internet I had issues connecting and I had to take an hour out of my vacation to attempt to get the issue fixed with their IT dept.. After advising the front desk about this they became upset that I didnt want to have someone come in the hotel to fix it- while we were in the room?! I advised them I didnt want to spend anymore time attempting to fix it and after speaking to a manager they finally agreed to comp me a dinner. For being a 4 star hotel, I was all but impressed. In additon, it took us a while to get hot water! Not going recommending this hotel at all!

counted 4 large stains on the corridor floor leading to my room 20-321. The water pressure for the shower was very low and the shower head was not adjustable. The bath towels were wrinkled and dingy.

Looks better in pictures
This hotel looks much nicer from the outside. As soon as you walk in you will notice a strong perfume smell. This smell is everywhere throughout the casino and hotel, except in the actual room (thankfully). The towels in my room were not clean! You might want to bring your own. The staff at the bellhop desk was rather rude. Front desk staff was nice enough. I would have been much more unhappy had I paid a lot for the room.

little disappointed
This was our 3x to Vegas. We where disappointed in the room. There was a strong fragrance in the casino area and everything looked old. We had 4moths in bedroom and curtains. We actually went to other casinos to gamble. The good thing was we where on the strip and not far from some of our favorite places.
