CityCenter's spruced-up neighbor keeps it fun and classy
"Unpretentiously luxurious" is the catchphrase used by Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, and it definitely holds true. This Las Vegas hotel pays homage to one of Europe's most lavish sites, but its new restaurants, bars, entertainers and penthouse-level boutique HOTEL32 mean you can use the words "opulent" and "swanky" in the same breath. Beautiful pool, wonderful restaurant, excellent staff
Spent as much time as possible at pool; beautiful setting, wonderful chaise lounges. Ate at Brand Steakhouse; delicious food, excellent service. Ate at Cafe twice; over-priced, but good quality. Food court was expensive; poor service. Staff was very helpful, espcially service man who came to our room to retrieve an earring that had slipped down the drain. Overall -- a fun-filled trip with excellent accomodations. Only problem -- temperature was 106-degrees; will plan next Las Vegas trip in spring or fall.

Deuce double-decker air conditioned bus provides inexpensive, dependable transportation. With a one-day pass, which costs $5, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you want. Great way of seeing all the hotels and casinos on the strip and going to downtown Las Vega.

Pleasant, Comfortable Stay
The Monte Carlo provided us with an excellent location directly on the Las Vegas Strip and clean,comfortable accommodations. Our room was large and spacious, much larger than a typical hotel room. The furnishings were excellent and well tailored for the room. The staff was friendly and was always receptive and prompt to our requests. The hotel's food court, while adequate, was nevertheless somewhat more limited than those found at other top Las Vegas hotels, and the shops were a little more restrictive in their merchandise. These latter two features were not, however, major deficiencies, since the hotel was located near many fast food eateries, specialty shops, and two national retail drug stores.

Great location on the strip...
If you want to be right in the middle of the action that Las Vegas night life offers, then a room at the Monte Carlo awaits you. Luxurious lobby, shopping, and casino areas makes for a comfortable visit while you cool off from the vegas heat. As for dining options, the buffet, while a little on the small side compared to the other heavy hitters such as Paris, or the Spice Market...the Monte Carlo's still carries it's weight with quality dishes that vary from Mexican to Chinese for the dinner menu. I enjoyed my stay, and I would definately consider another stay at the Monte Carlo on my next trip to Sin city.

Clean and Comfortablely
The Monte Carlo Resort and Casino was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. The location was very good!

in the middle of everything
