You're not a tourist. You're a resortist. It's hard to imagine a Las Vegas resort more complete than Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where luxury means a beachfront scene and casino, award-winning dining, vibrant nightlife, contemporary accommodations, a world-class Spa Mandalay, even a shark-themed aquarium. Dine at several star chef spots, find headlining acts and boxing at the Events Center, or rock out at venues like House of Blues and the futuristic Eyecandy sound lounge. Take in the sandy beaches, waterfalls, wave pool and lazy river at the sought-after Mandalay Bay Beach.
Location
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is on South Las Vegas Boulevard, part of the official Vegas Strip, near to the Bali Hai Golf Course, and just up from the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. From here, it's a six-minute drive to McCarran Airport (LAS). Across the road, guests can see the Little Church of the West: a wedding venue, Vegas institution, and funky jewel on the National Register of Historic Places, all rolled into one.
Highlights
  • Contemporary take on American food at Citizens Kitchen & Bar
  • Fine dining at Charlie Palmer's Aureole, Rick Moonen's RM Seafood and Wolfgang Puck's Lupo
  • On-site night pubs, lounges and live entertainment
  • The Mandalay Bay Beach scene with sparkling beaches, lazy river, wave pool and Moorea Beach Club
  • Predator-inspired Shark Reef Aquarium with 2,000 North American sea creatures
  • Home to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the fifth largest convention center in the U.S.
  • The only waterfront gambling in Vegas at the glass-fronted, three-story Mandalay Bay Casino
  • Unique collection of experiential venues and eclectic stores at Shoppes at Mandalay Place
Fees
  • This property charges a resort fee of $29 USD/night (plus tax), which includes the following services: in-room wireless internet, cardio center access, access to PressReader, a digital newspaper and magazine service, on your device, local and 800-number calls, outgoing faxes, complimentary notary services, boarding pass printing and 2 bottles of water/day.
Policies
Due to the hotel's location near the bottom of the Boulevard, getting around may be easier by monorail or bus.  There is a three-day bus pass available to ride the Deuce buses if you're on a quick business stay, and one-day passes are relatively inexpensive for vacationers.

This is not a comprehensive list of fees. Any amounts listed above may not include taxes and are subject to change.

Grand time at the Bay

Couldn't have asked for more...great suite, great spa, staff went above and beyond at every step. Everything was clean, from the casino, to my room...it is definately in the running for a repeat performance.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Skip the Goreoorium...I've seen better Haunted Houses at High school...staff full of Union-Actors who are more interested in getting there breaks than acting out there roles...overpriced, too-short.

Awesome 60th birthday trip

The hotel was excellent. I think that housekeeping should be made aware how many is staying in a room so they can leave that amount of towels, we had to call down everyday for more towels. The restaurants, the shows were excellent, there's no reason to leave because it's a lot to do in the hotel. Will definitely want to come back.

Stayed There

Hotel totally met my expectations. The pool is especially great. It's a little far from the hustle and bustle of the stip, but some people may find that a good thing. Probably my favorite hotel in Vegas, although I haven't been to the new (2013+) ones yet.

Great stay

I was extremely pleased with my 5 night stay. The pools were as advertised, awesome. Great for kids of all ages. Loved the poolside casino, great view and great dealers. The facilities are all fine. Good food and a wide range of options both food and price. It is a very easy walk to the lux and tram to Ex. Over the walk way to NYNY and up to the tram from Monte Carlo up north. as far as you want to go. Do not be concerned with the location.

Birthday/ Anniversary trip

This hotel was very nice. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. I like that there is a tram that you can take to get to the Luxor, Excalibur, which can take you to the cross way to the strip. They have a complementary valet services that we loved because having to look for parking is a headache alone. We loved the pools. They have a beach, lazy river, and 2 pools. Great hotel. Planning our next stay end of the year.

Great birthday/anniversary stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mandalay Bay, I got a beautiful room at the Delano suites tower that is part of the Mandalay Bay resort. Both are so beautiful. They have a great pool area over at the Mandalay. They have a lazy river, 2 pools, and a wave pool, a cute beach including sand! I also believe they have a hot tub, but it was 112° too hot for that lol. The room was very nice and clean. All white linens and modern furniture. It looked like a catalog pic. I almost did not want to move thing around because it was set up nice lol. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were also very nice and clean. The suite had all that I can ask for. The Mandalay has a mall on the upper level just walk through the resort and it gets you right into the Luxor or take the complimetary trams to the Luxor and Excalibur hotel casinos. At Excalibur you can take the walk way to cross to the other side of the Las Vegas strip that connects you New York and the MGM Grand along with plenty of shop and food courts that are not inside the hotel casinos like Wendy's, Del Taco, Panda Express, Sub Way ect and also plenty of shopping. The Mandalay Bay and Delano offer complementary valet. So that was such a plus. The front desk was always helpful and nice. I really enjoyed my stay. I am planning my next stay already.

4 nights in Vegas

Very much enjoyed the Mandalay Bay. The room was great, big with really comfortable beds. The hotel has everything you need, so you don't really ever need to leave it. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Fantastic pool area with multiple pools and a beach! Food at the beach bar was expensive and not great quality, but otherwise we ate well. Ri Ra the Irish pub upstairs has great live music every night and a decent bar menu at reasonable prices.
