House of Blues
Famed entertainment icon House of Blues is more often associated with music, but offers every bit as much soulful style in its restaurant. Highlighting soul-inspired, regional cuisine, entrees include Creole and Cajun staples such as jambalaya, gumbo and ettoufee, as well as Southern favorites like fried catfish, barbecued ribs, wood-fire pizza and Blues burgers. The renowned Sunday Gospel Brunch features the best in live Gospel performances and an all-you-can eat southern style buffet.
rumjungle
From the creators of China Grill, rumjungle is designed to take the art of food and entertainment to new levels. Guests entering rumjungle are treated to a dancing waterfall which transforms into a soothing wall of water. Volcanic mountains of rum and spirits rise up from an illuminated bar. Cooked over a giant fire pit that serves as a backdrop for a pulsating dance floor framed by "dueling congas," many entrees from the tropically- inspired menu are served on flaming skewers Rodizio style. Add an incredible list of exotic drinks and dancing to Latin, Caribbean and African beats until the wee hours of the morning and you have rumjungle.
StripSteak
Mandalay Bay is proud to welcome acclaimed chef Michael Mina's latest trendy, hip, fun dining venture StripSteak. Located where the former 3950 restaurant resided, this refreshing new approach to the upscale steakhouse includes a stylish bar that makes StripSteak the quintessential place to eat, mingle, and enjoy the classic cocktail experience.
Wolfgang Puck's Trattoria del Lupo
Wolfgang Puck's Italian bistro, Trattoria del Lupo, features Italian classics with traditional and contemporary influences, and served in an airy, cafe-like setting. The menu features an array of fresh seafood, pasta featuring Wolfgang's lasagna with beef, veal and ricotta and gourmet pizzas, from braised lamb ossobuco with pears, gorgonzola and watercress to chicken scaloppini with wild mushrooms and marsala florio. Private dining is available.

This innovative restaurant experience combines three American dining selections. Red offers regional American cuisine featuring an Oyster Bar complete with market fresh jumbo shrimp, Oysters and Maine lobster. White offers croissants, muffins and Danish, a distinct selection of fine coffees and delicious desserts to finish lunch or dinner. Blue offers outdoor/indoor dining serving casual breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
Red Square
This Russian themed restaurant and nightspot is one of the coolest places in town. Famous for its private vodka lockers, frozen ice bar, and a selection of more than 100 frozen vodkas and infusions, martinis and Russian-inspired cocktails. Dining selections include an extensive caviar list and a critically acclaimed menu of updated Russian classics and perestroika-inspired continental, French, Italian and American specialties. Plush, private red velvet banquettes complement the dazzling Russian-inspired decor. Voted best bar in America by Playboy Magazine in 2000.

MANDALAY BAY

This was my second stay at this hotel. My suite was larger than the suite i had at the Bellagio, and the price was more managable. Great view of the entire strip. The staff worked very well with me and always had fresh towels and left the room clean without being asked too. My fiance at one point had left her wallet in the room with valuaboes inside and the wallet was placed on the night table with eveything in its place. I recommend this hotel and will be staying here again. many activities that embrace the Vegas nightlife, we never left the hotel.

Less than the sum of it's parts

On first glance, this is a beautiful hotel with large rooms, so what could be wrong? Well...a lot. First issue we had was with the location. It is not close to anything other than the Luxor and the Excalibur. Otherwise, we were taking a cab to other casinos like the Venetian or Caesar's. After a week, that adds up so that any savings we got for Mandalay Bay was offset with cab fare. Next, was the housekeeping. It would have to improve to be mediocre. One example was when we arrived on a Tuesday and there was a used wine glass with small salt and pepper shakers in it left in front of someone's door. It was there in the hallway for 4 days(!) until anyone cleaned it up. As for our own experience...it took a call to housekeeping to get new bath soap...I suppose that the hotel expected two adults to share one small bar of soap for 3 days. Then there was the room cleaning. One day, they just did not clean the room. Other days, they opted not to replace towels; folding WET towels and putting them away...even ones left on the floor. More than once we had to call for fresh towels. On one occasion, towels were promised and never showed. It took three calls to housekeeping over 2+ hours and eventually a call to the manager to get towels. Even then, it took 45 minutes for the towels to show up after we spoke to the housekeeping manager. We have stayed in much less impressive hotels that have much better housekeeping. There is really no excuse for that and the hotel front desk apologized repeatedly for this experience and expressed their surprise. But because it occurred repeatedly, I doubt this is an isolated incident. Further there are few if any benefits to staying at this hotel. In spite of a rather steep resort fee they charge on top of the room rate, you cannot access the hotel exhibits (like the Shark Reef Aquarium) with even a discount. I guess the lone benefit is the access to the Foundation Room where we had the pleasure of paying almost $20 per drink. All in all, this was a 2 time trip for my wife and I....first and last. We come to Vegas regularly and I will never stay at this hotel again and will think twice about staying at a related M Life property even if offered a comp room. I would never recommend this hotel...ever.

Amazing Time in Vegas!

Had an amazing time at this Hotel. When booking, I wasn't sure of the location of the Hotel on the strip... turns out it was on the end of the strip, but there is a tram that takes you to New York New York and cabs were not expensive ($10 to take you to the center of the strip). We got the Spa 650Ft Suite and it was AMAZING! Everything was perfect, so perfect we barely wanted to leave the hotel room. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly! Only downside is the buffet SUCKED! Worst food I had ever had in my life. Also, the Irish Pub (Ri Ra) had horrible food and way overpriced. We seemed to love eating at the Border Grill and The Houssang Cantina. Don't touch the mini fridge stuff...way expensive. Ordered room service a couple times...not too bad!!! Overall, amazing experience!

Stunning

The staff was very friendly, offering water at check in. The room was very clean. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Ask for a view of the strip and the staff delivered. Even though we were in the non smoking rooms, the room next door had some smokers. The staff offered to bring in an ozone machine to clear it out. Very nice.

night stay

hotel was very nice and comfortable. its nice to stay at a hotel that doesnt smell too much like a casino in your room. Only thing that could of made it better was the bed. Beds were way to soft and boucy. Not very comfortable. Buffet at the mandaley was horrible. $30 per person you expect some good food. The food had no taste.

Good Trip

We stayed at "The Hotel" at Mandalay Bay the week before so in comparison obviously The Hotel was a more divine experience however my stay at Mandalay Bay was pleasurable, great location, friendly staff, lots to do! However the room wasn't up to my standard of cleanliness, it could have been because there Was a huge convention and they all checked out the day I checked in, but it should still be up to par. Also the beds were way to broken in and mattress would slant when laid upon. I scored a super good deal on price for the night so overall can't complain too much!

nice job mandalay bay

The service was excellent . the room was lovely. Check in could have been better, more organized and faster. But when you are dealing with Thousands of hairdressers any job is hard to do. I would love to go back anytime. My only other issue was the incredibly lengthy walk to the symposium I was attending at the hotel
