I liked my stay with MGM and would recommend it to others in the future. The rooms were nice, the beds quite comfortable and ... the bathroom was large. However, we arrived early and were given a time as to when our room would be ready. We checked back two more times and it wasn't ready so we eventually just took another room. It was not a major issue but it was a bit inconvenient.

MGM stay 11-15----11-20
Stone Nov 22, 2009
Staff was nice at casino. The front desk staff could have helped out more but some of the people were nice. All in all it ... was a good stay. Bell Staff was excellent. One night the alarm went off and it was the scariest thing ever. The security staff could have done a better job explaining what happened or assuring me and my girlfriend that we were safe. It woke me up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get back to sleep! I had an extremely important meeting the next day and I felt horrible due to the lack of sleep. That was the only thing negative I have to say. Everything else was alright.

Although we made a reservation for 2 deluxe rooms, they reserved two standard rooms for us. We were surprised when we ... entered the rooms. We immediately called the front desk and moved us to the deluxe rooms. If we did not complain, they would have kept us in the standard rooms. The standard rooms are complete opposites of the deluxe rooms. We wished that they delivered what we had reserved the first time. The hotel's reputation is at stake here. Other than this, the hotel is great.

Pleasant
Matthew Nov 19, 2009
The MGM was pleasant - not amazing, but certainly good. The casino (unescapable in LV as you enter and leave the hotel) is ... festive without being overbearing. My room was comfortable - nothing splashy. The bed was very comfortable. Check-in was fast and painless even though there were a large number of guest. As with most of LV these days the food options were good but overpriced. Cheap room rates, obscene food costs - and I say that as a Manhattanite. The tram worked very well getting to and from the convention center and other hotels.

The worst hotel service ever!
Philip Nov 18, 2009
Checking-in at this hotel was my worst experience ever! They assigned a room to me where I specifically requested 2 queen ... beds after waiting in a long line forever. After checking, I went to check the room before I head down to the parking lot to get my family with our 2 infants. When I got to the room...somebody is still there...so I headed back to the lobby to report the situation (If you've been in MGM, the building is huge...walking back and forth was the last thing I want to do after my 8 hr drive with 2 infants). The frontdesk changed it to a different room.I headed upstairs again to check the room...when I got there it was a 1 king size bed. I was frustrated I called the front desk again and the person I spoke with told me they will change to the room next door and told me to wait there, somebody will be there shortly. I waited forever and nobody came. I called them again to find out if somebody will go there...but the person I spoke with was using the alibi that they have more than 500 rooms and that they can't just send somebody there right away I replied..."I dont care if you have thousands of rooms in this hotel, if the person I spoke with earlier told me that I have to wait forever here I would have decided to just go downstairs to pick up the new keys." So I went downstairs again for the third time and retrieved the new keys. I couldn't find any frontdesk so I decided to approach the manager who was chatting with his maybe new friends (where they all seem to be laughing and enjoying the day) in the lobby. He told me "You have to wait for me to finish with them" then he turned his back---so unprofessional!

The very small deli near the back of the hotel is open either all nite or very late into the nite so if you want a yougurt or bagel or a bowl of excellent soup or a sandwich or salad to take up to your room or eat there it's great.....just s little something to hold you over or make it your dinner. The prices are reasonable too for Las Vegas.
