Problems encountered
Firat we did not know that the $25 extra fee was every day = $75. $8.00 whenever you had food in the room (room service) and this was not for a grituity - that would be extra. Additionally, we were not told at check in that there was construction going on until we saw a print out sheet in the room. Needless to say, we herd banging throughtout the night. Would nt stay there again.

MGM Grand
We arrived and ended up with a better room than we booked. Construction was going on but they went out of their way to make up for it. Offered us many extras just by asking. Room was clean and the beds are great. Only problem is they stock the fridge and if you go in it even to just store a sandwich you get a charge. Of course they remove it but they state the fridge is not their for your personal use only to buy what's inside of it. The pool is the best. Can't say much more than another great trip.

Entertainment tip:
Not Applicable
Take advantage of the less advertised entertainment. Everything on the strip is at least worth the ticket. We saw Discovering the Caveman (really funny) and we had a 2 for 1 coupon and got free tee shirts. Not a big deal but the night before we saw Jersey Boys (great) and needed a less money heavy night.

Lacking Something
The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room wasn't perfectly clean, the bathroom was tidy but didn't look very clean. Also not all the rooms were renovated yet you pay the same price to stay in the older rooms which aren't that great, no mini fridge, no coffee maker as well as not all the lights in the room worked and even it they did it's still pretty dark in there. This hotel attracts quite a younger crowd although the pool area is pretty neat with many pools to choose from as well as a lazy river and a waterfall. Overall I definitely wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3 star

mgm grand, we will be back
I would just like to say that the lady that checked us out was amazing! We had a $65 food credit that we didn't know about so she was going to give us a later check out so we could use it, but we wanted to get on the road home so instead she credited us back 3 days of resort fees. A total of $67, it was so nice of her to even consider doing that. That is why when we come to Vegas again we will be staying at the MGM

Never Again!
The customer service at MGM was lacking big time!! Employees spent more time talking to each other and not even acknowledging your presence while you were standing right in front of them wanting to ask a question. Everything was way over priced even for hotel standards. We paid six dollars for an ice cream cone!! I was just not impressed at all with this hotel. Reservations were screwed up, house cleaning only showed up twice and the lack of communication between employees for follow through on complaints were sad. I would not recommend this hotel.

cool place
MGM was pretty awesome... the largest hotel... casino... and they have everything. We stayed on the westwing... the room was very contemporary and cool! Cool view of the hotels from our room (9th floor)... the casino wasn't too smokey (unless you sit by smokers)... awesome restaurants (bit pricey)... really fun pool area (we stayed at different pool everyday)...

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
don't take the shuttle, they charge $7 per person... take a taxi (some are crazy drivers) but you can save a lot if you are traveling with friends/spouses... and i don't recommend getting a rental car... pretty chaotic to drive and pretty confusing...

Happy with our stay
Our stay started out on a bit of a negative note; as the room was not ready when it was guaranteed to be at 3pm. I asked for a different room than the one the front desk clerk assigned and we were finally able to get in around 3:45. After we were settled, however, the stay was great. The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable, the TV was very nice and overall it was a very comfortable room. The restaurants on property were all good. The staff was VERY friendly everywhere we went. We went to TABU on the last night of our stay and had a blast. Also, we went to Wet Republic and had a great time. Overall, I would go back! Great value.
