Let's be straight: If this pyramid-shaped resort was just a gimmick, it wouldn't have lasted. And recent updates have definitely put the Luxor back on the map. Great experience
hotel room was clean and staff were cutious. I would stay there when I visit las vegas. The casino was noisy but my stay was cool. The valet parking was okay wth free parking only small tips. Luv it.

Stayed in the Pyramid Deluxe room with two queens. I was just disappointed that there is such a large resort fee and the hotel didn't even have WiFi. Was at a major professional conference rooming with 3 other people and we needed internet frequently. It was a pain sharing the one ethernet cord in the room. I was just shocked there is so much money getting pumped into the slot machines in the hotel, yet no WiFi in the rooms. My room did get cleaned every day and my clothes that were laying around were folded for me. The buffet between Excalibur and Luxor was a great deal, though. 35 bucks for all day and I could go to either place.

Quick 2 Night Stay
I have stayed at Luxor before a couple times and it is a great value for the money.Location is perfect down in the main part of the strip. The rooms are nice and am always surprised that being above the casino floor, you really don't hear any noise from the casino when going to sleep! Only negatives I have on the hotel this trip. There were stains on the top bed spread/blanket...a pretty decent amount of them. A little gross, but happens in hotels at times. And I know it is just their marketing and doing what they have to do to make money, but it gets a little old when constantly being approached by people trying to get you to check out time shares. You get enough of that out walking the strip, don't need it when coming back to your hotel as well!

If looking to drink, just gamble! Or even just sit at penny slots and servers will bring you drinks for free! If you go up to bar for drinks, gonna run you $5.00 for a beer, where as at a slot, $1 tip for a beer.

Overall it was ok. Room was clean. Staff was helpful. It's near airport. Has food court.I was very disappointed with in-room equipments. The iron, tv, alarm clock, AC---all were broken. Someone had to fix TV on 1st day. It took them about an hour to fix it. Later I found out that the knob for AC was not working. It was very hard to adjust temp. The knob for iron was broken too. Alarm clock will go off whenever. The closet also smelled sweaty.

There are 3 different Starbucks within the hotel. If one is busy, go to the other one. Also, in food court, there are a lot of cheaper alternatives.

Nice quiet refuge from Vegas madness
Check-in was easy once we got through the line, which took 18 minutes despite (because?) arriving at 11 pm on a Thursday. Everyone on staff was pleasant, and housekeeping non-intrusive. Bed was perfect and no noise detected from neighbors. I attended a conference during the 4 day stay, and my spouse toured the Valley of Fire park, and we both hiked the Red Rocks canyon our final day in town. These were nice contrasts to the Vegas strip, which is easily accessible from the hotel. On-screen check out was fast and accurate. I would stay here again.
