Let's be straight: If this pyramid-shaped resort was just a gimmick, it wouldn't have lasted. And recent updates have definitely put the Luxor back on the map. Good deal
First time at Vegas. Hotel was clean and staff was polite and helpful. Located within easy walking distance of many attractions.

great hotel but everyone that should have, didn't tell me that places at the hotel were going to be closed for the holidays........, One reason wanted to stay at the luxor is to eat at Rice&company (sushi) but it was closed for the holidays, so I tried going to T&T (taco's & tequila) in the hotels own calendar it said T&T would have maraichi brunch on sat 22nd, nope the place was closed too, the TENDER steak&seafood was great food & drink,. poker tournament was good, bars were empty. asked for privacy in my room but the sign on the door must have fallen down because someone still went into my room to clean. its the little things folks , not asking for anything more then you advertise...............

December getaway
Excellent value. Room was clean, quiet and easy to get around. Plenty of closet space. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was glad I made this choice and plan on returning.

Sisters wedding get away
The Chapel and their staff for my sisters wedding at the hotel were great. Unfortunately the hotel has become very dated and the rooms were not comfortable. It took every bit of five minutes for my shower to get hot water and the jets in the hot tub did not work. There is not wireless internet in the rooms, just a phone line hookup. The T.V. remote did not work properly either. With all that being said, the shows were good but I would not stay there again unless they went through a major cosmetic renovation.

Good place to sleep.
Pros: location bed con: no fridge the shower did not have a normal soap holder, so there was not way to put the shampoo and stuff on. that was annoying. towels were not soft room was dark, not well lit NO WIFI, only Ethernet cable - who tf does not have wifi these days, especially a big hotel. parking was hard to find and so far to walk

What stays in Vegas
Not a single thing went wrong! Room clean, staff friendly but not in your way. Surprising number of kids @ the casino. Would like to see coffie machine in the room, but what would they do with the high priced stores in the commmon areas. Excellent value compared to the City Center hotels.

Awesome Blackjack dealers
The stay was ok but the dealers were awesome. I will go again and stay here just because of the Blackjack dealers. FANTASTIC and very very nice
