From pool and penthouse to casino and club, it's always on at HRH

Once an intimate boutique property, the off-Strip Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (HRH) has upped the ante with the addition of luxe towers, pools, a concert hall, club and Reliquary spa. With genuine rock memorabilia throughout, the Hard Rock definitely puts the "P" in party with its infamous REHAB Sunday pool parties, the outdoor Breathe Pool Lounge, Body English nightclub, concerts at The Joint and pool, Hart & Huntington Tattoo, several dining options and stunningly sexy accommodations. Rooms and suites in the towers are among the best in Las Vegas.

Highlights
  • Beach Club, one of Travel Channel's top 10 pools in the world
  • The Joint's headlining rock bands and entertainers, including past headliners like No Doubt, Sting and the Rolling Stones
  • Body English nightclub with intimate lighting, elegant leather booths, multiple bars and dance floors.
  • Reliquary spa, with unique co-ed Roman bath design
  • Nobu sushi, a top Las Vegas sushi restaurant

Great Atmosphere

Very nice rooms, ran into a few workers and asked for help and they went out of their way to help. Wish I would have gotten names, one gentlemen was off work and stopped to walk us to where we were looking. Great place

Rock is in the air!

There's no place like the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. It's all about the atmosphere. If you're into rock music, You won't find any other place more appealing than this one in Vegas. The place breathes music. The decor and the great selection of music playing all over the property - it's all coming together resulting in great overall experience. I've given 4 stars for location, because the hotel is located off the Strip, but it's just a little over 2 miles from there, which is a walking distance, really.

Great price for off-the-strip Vegas.

I previously stayed at the Hard Rock hotel Paradise tower. Since then, the hotel has been put through the "ringer." While the Hard Rock is a great deal and a good time, it has not aged gracefully and can use some updates. For example, room iPod docks are still equipped with the old iPhone 4 adapter.

Waiting for Luggage

When we pulled in, the bellhop brought a cart over to our car for our luggage. As we started to put it on, he said he had to do it as guests are not allowed to use the carts. We then checked in and asked if our luggage would be brought directly to our room. She said yes. We went to our room and waited about 15 minutes, anxious to change and get to dinner after flying all day. I then went all the way back to the check-in and there was our luggage still sitting outside. I asked the bellhop what was up as there were several of them standing around and he said he had not received any instructions from the front desk. Wonder how long they would have waited before asking the front desk? So that was a bad start. The room itself was average but there was a lot of noise from the hallway. We had no view although we paid extra for a pool view. We really enjoyed all the rock memorabilia in the hotel lobby but you could stay somewhere else and just walk in to see the stuff they have.

HRH Tower Suite

We stayed in the HRH tower suite, with our two older teenagers. The room had two queen beds, plus the ability to close off using the sliding doors to allow the kids to hangout in a completely separate room and watch the tv with minimum disturbance to us. Our bedroom also had a tv. By the way, the tv's were both high quality brands and there was also a music system built into the wall which sounded great. Great place for teenagers - they felt that this was a hotel which catered to their interests. The pool area was pretty too. The hotel is a long walk to the strip, so either take their free shuttle (within certain hours) or take a cab, or simply take your own car and park at any of the other hotels on the strip. The overall savings on the room makes it quite worth the minimum hassle of dealing with the transportation issue though.

Great time had by all.

The suites in the HRH tower are great...better than allot of other suites I have stayed in...And a real upgrade over the standard room which I have also stayed in before...The room could use a microwave for those who don't want to order room service, and the glass wall/enclosure for the bathroom make privacy suspect when staying with someone other than a lover...The lack of a Jacuzzi at the Nirvana pool was a downer but there is a pool above the bar that has a glass bottom and people ordering drinks can take a view from below...Sign up for the Backstage Pass and get comp'ed a free drink at the Center Bar and Free wine at the steakhouse...Plus if you are driving into Vegas and need to park your car, the HRH tower has its own garage next to it to make for a short walk...Lastly, suite guests have their own Front Desk service.

super clean and comfortable

The room was fantastic. Only downside was the 1 hour standing in to check in. Be prepared to pay a $24 resort fee. It was still a good value, just not as much savings as expected.

Not as good as Seminole Hard Rock!

We were expecting the same hotel experience as we had at Seminole Hard Rock in Fl. This property was no where near as nice, much older. Everything was designed to cost the guest additional money. There was not even a coffee maker in the room which forced us to get dressed and go down stairs each morning and spend $15.00 for 3 coffees. We were not allowed to use the fridge for our own food and drinks. I will not be going back.
