From pool and penthouse to casino and club, it's always on at HRH

Once an intimate boutique property, the off-Strip Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (HRH) has upped the ante with the addition of luxe towers, pools, a concert hall, club and Reliquary spa. With genuine rock memorabilia throughout, the Hard Rock definitely puts the "P" in party with its infamous REHAB Sunday pool parties, the outdoor Breathe Pool Lounge, Body English nightclub, concerts at The Joint and pool, Hart & Huntington Tattoo, several dining options and stunningly sexy accommodations. Rooms and suites in the towers are among the best in Las Vegas.

Highlights
  • Beach Club, one of Travel Channel's top 10 pools in the world
  • The Joint's headlining rock bands and entertainers, including past headliners like No Doubt, Sting and the Rolling Stones
  • Body English nightclub with intimate lighting, elegant leather booths, multiple bars and dance floors.
  • Reliquary spa, with unique co-ed Roman bath design
  • Nobu sushi, a top Las Vegas sushi restaurant

Nice hotel but misrepresented

Overall, The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino was a nice place to stay. The hotel rooms were comfortable and rock style like but not the best I've stayed in. When we arrived, we encountered a not so friendly staff member at registration. Then we find out that there was a daily deposit "fee" that would be charged to a credit/debit card and then released/re-credited if nothing was damaged in the room which would take between 3-5 days. Then we call to find out more about the hotel shuttle that takes you to the strip...BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Don't get me wrong, the ride is a big pretty black Escalade but we were told that it would seat 8 and it only set 4. It only takes you to the Fashion Show Mall and runs from 10-5 on the hour every hour. The hotel is quite a ways from the strip so be prepared to shell out $10-15 for a cab ride or hope you can fit in the shuttle or make it within its time constraints. My recommendation, either call and make sure you know all the details before reserving and paying for you room or stay SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Suites are a lot better

Last year we went to a suite and this year a regular room. The experience is miles away. They have a new stupid automated system for mini bar that charge your bill if you dare to touch the products, thanks to a weight sensitive invention. Ask for a room without the connecting door to next room, to noise is frustrating.

Nice, but not Super!

The hotel room was nice, staff were helpful and friendly, however, for the extra fee and the amount of money spent per night, several things in the room did not work. Mini bar wouldn't open, sink was clogged and bath tub as well. Called to have them come look at it, but they never did.

Weekend Get Away

I came to Vegas for a Bachelor Party so we decided to stay at a MANLY hotel. Here's my summary: Pro's: - Double-Queen Rooms can be connected in Paradise Tower - Great in room amenities - Interesting Motley Crue fans in town... Con's: - Hassle regarding getting the Double-Queen rooms. Spent 1hr on the phone resolving rate issues. Customer Service at Online Booking Company starting with "O" and ending in "z" did clear everything up and make the situation right. - Too far from the Blvd. We spent a lot of time either walking or driving to Vegas Blvd

Ist time to Vegas

Hotel charges an additional $20 per day for ammenities that are free at other hotels. Bottom line. It cost an extra $107.00 when all taxes and fees should have been included.

do not book if you want a room fairly close to the strip! Nice room decor, Staff needs work,

When we first arrived at the front desk to check in, I did not particularly like the way I was greeted. I felt the staff could have at least made eye contact while speaking to me. I did not feel a whole lot welcomed. They were out of the standard rooms so we were upgraded to a junior suite room which was trendy looking and fairly large. The lighting in the room needed some work. The bar area was much too dark, as well there was no lighting by the table that had a mirror in front of it. Bathroom was aging. This hotel is really far from the strip which was a BIG disappointment. Its not even in walking distance which meant each time we left the hotel we had to fork up cab money (which got a bit annoying). The hotel does have a shuttle service that runs til 5pm but it only runs once each hour and drops you off at 1 location (at the Fashion Show Mall) Mr Lucky's is a great restaurant. Open 24 hrs. Food is fantastic!

Never Again!!

The hotel and casino were nice but extremely expensive. The restaurants in the hotel SUCK!!! It's not on the strip so you have to take a taxi to and from the strip unless you want to walk 25 minutes each way. Would not recommend. **BEWARE** DON'T TOUCH THE FOOD AND DRINK IN YOUR ROOM CAUSE YOU WILL BE CHARGED JUST FOR TOUCHING IT, EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE IT.

Hard Rock Vegas

I had to move twice due to odors and excessive noise (pool area music, rowdy neighbors). The regular HR is getting quite dated. The newer tower is very nice.
