Wouldn't Stay again
After arriving late (11:20 pm) and anticipating an easy, streamlined check in, I was sorely mistaken. There were about 10 people ahead of me and 4 people working the front desk. It took on average 20 MINUTES per check in. We didn't get to the desk for 35 minutes. When I asked what was taking so long for each check ins, the clerk looked at me annoyed and said "there were a lot of people". While i was waiting, the clerk next to me asked if she could go on break with a line still of about 20 poeple, this was closing in on midnight! The manager did tell her she needed to wait until the line had gone down. When we go to our room, we were not told it was a smoking room, though it was clean and not overwhelming with smoke smell. There was no coffee maker and when we went to the cafe style restaurant, it was $3 per cup and $11 for pancakes. We had to go down the road for breakfast and next time we will go down the road for our nights stay as well.

The Hard Rock Hotel "Rocks"
This marks the 2nd year in a row that we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel while being in Las Vegas for the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl. This was the 3rd year in a row that the BSU Broncos beat a team from the Pac 12 (the 1st year we stayed at a different hotel). The room was better than expected. A large King Bed, non smoking and "pool view". The people in the hotel were great, including the restaurants and the little stores. My favorite store is the little coffee shop on the way out of the hotel walking towards the parking. The parking is convenient. Gambling is what we expected it to be! I recommend that everyone considers staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
