Cant complain, great hotel!
Great hotel, great pool, great restaurants. Cant complain at all, just wish i was on the strip! I did check-in to my room for 3 people and there was no hangers, no iron, and only 2 towels. I called and they send up the stuff i needed in a few hours so if you have any issues when you check in just call right away!

Everything you need at ONE hotel
I've stayed at the Hard Rock a few times but this past stay was perfect. With the amount of time there we made sure to use the pool and the amenities to our advantage. Overall one of the better Vegas trips and hotels all around.

Relaxing getaway
Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back! We do wish that the free shuttle didn't drop you off at the far end of the strip and that it had extended hours past 5:00p.m. Also, the cab drivers tried to get people to ride together and then didn't give any sort of discount for sharing a cab.

Nice
I stayed at the HRH suites which is the newer and higher end section. The rooms were amazing, clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend it. I also used the SPA which was an other great experience and again highly recommended specially given the better prices and packages they offer. I only used one of the restaurants (I think it was called lucky's or something) and it wasn't any thing special. Gaming wise, the poker room was very very quiet, never saw more than one table going but they did have amazing specials giving away 100 bucks every hour to high hand and a bottle of SKY vodka for 2 hrs of play. Over all I had a nice experience :-)

Nothing special
This hotel is located off the strip. The Lobby area is loud and no matter where you are staying you have a very long walk to the pool. The pool was great but the drinks a bit pricey considering it was off the strip. I drank for less at a hotel that was on the strip!! The rooms were large and so was the bathroom. It was not cheap to stay here, and I was expecting a lot more from Hard Rock.

Better at the hard rock.
I was at another hotel for a conference. The other hotel was dirty. I felt uncomfortable laying on the bed. So I bailed on the other hotel loosing a prepaid day went to the hard rock. They did get me for an amenities charge which I had not been informed of. Las Vegas is a silly place I hope I never have to go there again.

Not what I expected from Hard Rock
To start, there was a miscommunication between the travel agency and the hotel. I had reserved at least 3 weeks prior to our stay, but there was no record of the reservation even when I showed them the confirmation with the record locator number. They took over an hour to get that right and were not able to get me adjoining rooms that I had requested. They didn't provide any upgrades for our inconvenience. Everytime I went to the front desk for anything, there was always a line, even thought there were twice as many agents as guests at the front desk. It looked like they had to have two agents for each guest, Then, I found out that this hotel was not even connected with the other hotel by this names. I had been really impressed with the San Diego version of this hotel and that is why I had booked at this one in Las Vegas. The experience was well short of my prior experience in San Diego. They did not ask what our favorite genre of music was and pipe it in to our rooms like in San Diego. The furniture in the rooms was scratched and the bathroom was very mundane. In San Diego, the rooms were much nicer and impressive, comparatively. Still, for the money it was okay. The beds were very comfortable. However, they had an honor bar and refrigerator that we were warned that if we even picked anything up to look at it, we would be charged! And, there was no room in the refrigerator for food or even a coffee machine. I guess they were trying to eke out more money, by having the guests pay for it in their restaurants. The location was not good - way off the strip. The next time I go to Las Vegas, I will not be staying here - I will find a nicer hotel in a better location.

Cirque du Soleil's Mystere show at Treasure Island was excellent. Also, to get some fresh air and scenery as well as education, go hiking in Red Rock and/or go to the Springs Reserve and Museum in town.
