Hotel is OK

HRH is OK. I got a pretty good deal for the room, HOWEVER, it upset me that now this is another hotel that came up with the ridiculous "resort fee", on top of the room price. It supposedly accounts for things that should be free at every hotel, like fitness room use, wi-fi, etc.

It's still a fun place.

I had a great time at the Hard Rock Hotel. The design of the place is fantastic. The rooms are neat and uncluttered with photos of rock stars on the walls. The pool area is great with 3 separate pools and music playing all the time. I love the round bar in the middle of the main casino area. You can watch what's happening all around you while having a drink. Be aware that there is a $22 a night "resort fee." There was a list of what the resort fee included and I did not use anything on the list but I still had to pay the fee. It can get very expensive though. $10 for a glass of cranberry juice at the pool, $6.50 for a small snickers bar in the room, $8 for a shot of scotch at the bar. It's a lousy place to play blackjack. At their single deck game a blackjack pays 6 to 5. People who play that game are just stupid. But overall it is a fun place to stay.

Don't gamble at the Hard Rock Casino. There are plenty of better casinos in Vegas.

I will not go back to this hotel! Forsure

I don't like to complain but I rather be honest and when I say honest its details. They upgraded us to a suite which was the only good thing. The room was soo hot I put it at the lowest 65 and the room was at 80. The only thing they said was oh Im sorry about that. The restaurants with bars close at 10pm during the wkdays. Come on its Vegas. My husband and I went to the pool on Sun. and they charge $25pp plus if you want to lay on their chairs to relax $50each so we paid for 2. We thought it was ridiculous to pay $150 for the pool. The pool closes at 6!! Too expensive and its off the strip. We just wouldnt go back, it wasnt as packed as other hotels, maybe bc people read reviews and alot are negative. Just stay on the strip and at another hotel. Not worth it we left the hotel everyday to go to the strip. As I said Im being honest. Dont stay at this hotel!!!!!

Overbooked!

We made our reservations in November of 2012 for our annual trip to Vegas in May 2013. We arrived at our hotel after picking up rental car at airport and by that time was almost 10PM. They told us at the front desk they were overbooked and we did not have our room there. They moved us to a hotel across the street with a lame aplogy and a card in which to contact booking agent for compensation. VERY UPSETTING Pool was extremely noisy until late at night and the temp of the water made it impossible to swim in. WILL NOT STAY HERE or BOOK HERE again

Hard Rock Hotel

I enjoyed my stay alot. Staff at front desk was friendly and answered all my questions but didnt seem to want to be there. All other staff was happy to help and seemed to be enjoying themselvs. The room was great. Drinks were a bit high but that was to be expected. Cheaper drinks would have kept me gambling longer, worked out as I wanted to see more of Vegas anyway.
