Surprisingly pleased
MsPris Nov 24, 2009
Competed in a fitness competition and went shopping at the Outlet Stores just three blocks from the hotel. Obviously Las ... Vegas is not toddler-friendly. The hotel had no coffee pots in the room to heat warm water for mixing toddler cereals, etc. There was no minibar either; thus, nothing to chill milk for the night. There are high chairs available in the restaurants at least.

Kentlady Nov 23, 2009
We were in Las Vegas for the Firefighter's Combat Challenge held on Fremont Street. The Golden Nugget was very convenient and ... by far the nicest hotel in the district. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the smaller feel of this hotel versus the huge places on The Strip. A short distance from the hotel we caught the bus "The Deuce" for our trips down to The Strip. This is our second stay and we have been really happy with our experience.

Overall we all had a great time! The only thing that we all noticed is that the staff seemed like they were doing us a favor ... when ordering drinks, food, or even asking a question about where to find something. The bar staff should definitely cheer up!! The Golden Nugget has sure shined up.. Keep up the good work. We would like to stay at the new tower on our next trip to Vegas. Hopefully the staff can shine next time. I will always give anything a second chance!

Noni Nov 15, 2009
We have always stayed on the strip but this stay we tried the Golden Nugget because it was priced at $51.00/night! We were ... so pleasantly surprised. The staff was wonderful, the rooms very nice and the food outstanding. There were cheap slots, $2.00 tables and the place was jammed. Good energy. Try the buffet it was the est we have been to and cost $11.88 for the 2 of us with the coupons we got at check in.
