Awesome Vegas weekend

Would recommend Tue, Jul 14, 2015
Was pleasantly surprised with the rooms at the Gold Coast. Very chic and comfortable. However, the casino could use a bit of a make over, kinda dated, inside and out. Still made for a convenient, comfortable stay. There's a Friday's and Subway inside the casino. Located across the 15 behind Caesar's and next to the Rio, the location makes for easy in and out. I would use the Gold Coast again.

WSOP stay

Would recommend Mon, May 11, 2015
Stayed for the weekend, was here to play in a WSOP event last minute decision. Rio wanted over $300 a night due to also being EDC that weekend. Booked here because in total it was nearly $600 cheaper.

The hotel was nice, in a great location. The hotel has a bowling alley and plenty of free parking. The only ding was the wireless service was poor. But the pool was refreshing.

Great trip

Would recommend Fri, Apr 17, 2015
I like this place, and would visit again if stopping through Vegas en route to...somewhere. The shuttle service could be more frequent and with bigger spaces some people going to an event at the Orleans couldn't get on. But room was good, the coupon book was handy, and I was lucky at the craps table.

A tightwad's paradise!!!!!

Would recommend Mon, Apr 13, 2015
I honestly had no intention of staying here on our trip. We were going to stay the whole time on the Strip, at some more expensive properties. A main goal of the trip was to spend time here due to the excellent gaming and cheap buffet. The night before we left we found a price on here that was just impossible to beat so we did decide to stay for four nights. I am so glad that we did. The room while not special, still served its purpose. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean. We didnt here any noise from other rooms and the elevator worked just fine. The main reason we stayed here and looked forward to spending time here was due to the cheap gaming and cheap eats. What is the point of staying at a place if you are too cheap to pay the table minimums. The Gold Coast has low limits on craps and Blackjack as well as many good Video Poker machines. I am so glad we were able to play for a couple of hours go upstairs take a break and then repeat. While there we ate at the buffet, the noodle shop, Subway and the TGI Fridays (which provided the room service). We even used the bowling alley and the bingo room. I am proud to say I cannot wait until my next stay at the Gold Coast!

Affordable and clean room

Would recommend Mon, Apr 6, 2015
The staffs and service are quick. The hotel room is clean and quite, great for ones who need that for sleeping. It got a great value buffet! It was a trip to explore Vegas without car rental so it costs me a lot to get a cab back and forth from the hotel to the strip. There is a shuttle bus service provided by the hotel to go to the strip but I waited and gave up after several minutes waiting at the spot. Maybe I will try to use the service next time. Though, if you have a car or rent one, you may like the hotel more. It is not far from the strip, only about 2-3 miles. I like Asian food and Goal Coast has two, Noodle Exchange and Ping Pang Pong. Their food are great and prices are reasonable. Though, service may be a hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Overall, GC is not the best but certainly not a bad hotel choice depending on what you value. For me, I will come back as I don't need luxury ones when going to Vegas.

Affordable and close to the strip

Would recommend Mon, Apr 6, 2015
I enjoyed staying at the Gold Coast. It's just off the strip and they have everything you need (clean rooms, casino, sports book & restaurants). The Gold Coast is an older hotel, but they've done a good job at keeping it updated. There is a resort fee, but it includes WiFi for up to 3 devices. I rented a car this trip and it worked out great. They have a huge, free parking garage. The property is easy to get in and out of and is just West of I-15, so it's pretty close to the Strip. This is not a very fancy place, but the basic rooms are nice. The carpet in my room was a little worn and needed to be replaced, but the room was nice. They have flat screen TV's and the bed was comfy, I don't need much more than that. The only drawback (besides the carpet) was that the bedding was a little thin. The beds don't have a comforter with a duvet, it's just a sheet, a thin blanket and another sheet on top. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely stay there again.
