** No Resort Fees! ** Bugsy Siegel's desert dream, The Flamingo, has anchored the Las Vegas Strip since they started rolling dice in 1946. This self-contained casino and resort offers everything an adventurous vacationer could want - including a Wildlife Habitat and a 15-acre Caribbean-style water playground. Set on the famous "Four Corners" of Las Vegas Blvd. and Flamingo Road, this hotel combines heart-pounding Las Vegas excitement with hospitality and service that's second to none.

Guests of the Flamingo are treated to the ultimate self-contained resort experience. Fifteen acres of Caribbean-style foliage is the backdrop for everything from an extravagant Wildlife Habitat to four separate pools, with cascading waterfalls, for swimming and sunbathing. With pool cabanas and lagoon loungers for rental, amazing casinos, tennis courts, spa & fitness center, the Alexandra Salon, and the incredible Cascata golf course, Flamingo offers plenty for everyone.

Sin City Brewing Co., the Las Vegas-based microbrewery, offers a full-bar experience near the hotel's guest entrance while featuring all four of Sin City's custom brews on tap. Visitors to the Flamingo Las Vegas can now revel in the brand's vivacious image while capturing sports on three plasma screen televisions, surrounded by etched red metal surfaces, and a patio adjacent to the 15-acre pool and wildlife complex.

Entertainment icons Donny & Marie return to the Strip after 29 years to bring their distinctive talents and undeniable charm to Flamingo Las Vegas. These icons of music and television dazzle and delight audiences of all ages with this all-new multimedia spectacle, which combines Donny & Marie's timeless hits with a custom-designed stage with multiple video screens and a sizeable cast of electrifying dancers. Their timeless chart-topping hits, some duets and some solos, include "Paper Roses," "Make the World Go Away," "I'm Leaving It (All) Up to You," "Morning Side of the Mountain," "Puppy Love," "Soldier of Love," "Deep Purple" and others.

Comedy superstar George Wallace has been selling out comedy clubs and concert venues all over the country and now you can see him live at the Flamingo! Wallace began his career in comedy as a writer for "The Redd Foxx Show" and made a huge splash on the stand up scene as one of 150 competitors on the cable television special "The Big Laugh Off."

O'Sheas Casino, operated by and adjacent to the Flamingo, hosts the first and only tattoo shop on the Strip! Vince Neil Ink offers some of the nation's top tattoo artists in four tattoo rooms - including a VIP room, and a windowed room for passersby to enjoy your inking - as well as exclusive Vince Neil and Motley Crue merchandise, and the Chopper from the Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls" video on display.

Sorry, guests must be 21 or older to check into Las Vegas hotels. An additional-person charge will apply to all persons staying in the room, regardless of age. We regret that children cannot stay free.

PLEASE NOTE: At time of check-in, each individual guest will be required to provide the hotel with a valid credit card or cash deposit in the amount of $100 per each day of guest stay if paying via credit card, or $200 for the entire guest stay if paying via cash (the $200 cash deposit will only activate in-room movies and phone).

Quick tip

"The good, the bad, and the really ugly"

OnceBurned Dec 20, 2009

The view from the hotel room gave an excellent view of the strip. Unfortunately, the room itself was worn and the carpet was ... dirty. Although the hotel was only 30% booked we were put in the furthest rooms on the property. Apparently because we didn't upgrade to the go-rooms. Outside the hotel prepare to be accosted by street people trying to hand you explicit sexual material. Secondly, the Wyndham booth people trying to interest you in timeshares were always in your face and didn't want to take no for an answer. Very frustrating. Drinks were specially expensive for a hotel of this caliber. One bartender stated he wouldn't comp drinks unless we put a minimum of $20 in the machine and play max bet ($2.50) a pop. We're not cheap so playing wasn't the issue. Being told how to play was. All for an overpriced $6 domestic beer.

Entertainment tip, Short Walk

If you're just looking for a hotel room in a good location the Flamingo is fine. Go elsewhere to eat and drink. There are many places to go that are close with better food and better prices. Gambling is so-so here but we were there in December so overall gambling was down everywhere. If you're looking for a hotel that has it all consider others even if you spend more money. Paris, Venetian, or Mirage are good examples. Paris looked the most interesting.

Would recommend to a friend!

the room was great, when I checked in I requested that my 4 sets of friends who also had reserved rooms but arriving after me ... could all be in consecutive room with one ajoining and was told by [...] that they could do that with 3 of the couples but not the fourth since they were staying and extra nite. well I was in 7121 and then when my friend checked in(several rooms away) rm 7128,as soon as you opened the door the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk to request another room, advising them my friend has a 3 month old baby and this smokey room was un acceptable. I was told "it was impossibal the room could be smokey because the whole 7th floor is non smoking."well that may be but it definately was smokey as I again informed the person, before requesting a staff member come up and smell the room for themselves, which was done.the other disappointment was using the valet service. I know it was busy with the rodeo in town but after waiting for over 30 mins for the car to be brought up after showing the man behind the desk the claim number I inquired how much longer it would be. the man looked at the number on our blue claim check and then pulled the key out of the drawer and sent someone for it. then they gave about 3 different excuses for the blatent error no effort to apologize or acknowledge that basically we had stood around there for 30plus minutes wasting time. another sad thing was the other lady waiting just as long as us, they could not find her key or car, and were looking in the trashes for her key, taking forever which is unfortunate because her friend was diabetic and needed to get home to get her now overdue insulin. she had to wait while they had a key made for her car. this was all on the nite I checked in.on a positive note, the housekeeper was very nice and did a good job and my room was nice.

CHEAP/DIRTY

Wildvick Dec 9, 2009

We went to vegas for a short vacation. We visited Freemont street. We did get to to several other hotels while we where ... there. A room where water was not running through the pipes all day and night, possibly a vacuumed floor would have been nice. We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago, nothing compared to this room we stayed in. We had the option to upgrade our room but we didn't because our room last time was just fine. What a mistake.

Sort of Dissapointing

Grace Dec 4, 2009

The only reason we stayed at The Flamingo is because we were going to see Donny and Marie Osmond, so we thought: well, rather ... than driving around after the show, we will just stay there. In my opiniion the hotel is pricy if you only need it to sleep. No value for the buck!!!! Plus there were no ammenities to make it more comfortable. The room we stayed at is old, the furniture needs refinishing, the shower head did not work, and the carpet was not very clean. It just made it bearable because it was only one night and we were excited to see the Osmond show. Food is a nightmare. Restaurants close early so if you are hungry after 10:00 .m., good luck finding something fast and easy inside the hotel. I am sure out on the Strip you could find something decent, but not inside the hotel.

Beware - conned me

Conned customer Nov 25, 2009

When I checked in, they did not have any non-smoking rooms available. They offered us a mini-suite free upgrade. On checking ... out, they said it was a discounted upgrade and we were charged $22 more per night. No one would listen and the manager would not even show up at the front desk. I was not too happy with this service. To make things worse, the room was not good at all. We didnt get any DND signs and restrooms were stained! The staff is friendly to talk to, but the moment you have a problem, they put up a stern face. The only advantage of this place is its in the heart of the strip. I would personally pay a little more and avoid this con-hotel. Or if I go in there, I would be very vary of any additional things offered by the staff. This place offers bare minimum.

Vegas Vacation

Lisa Nov 23, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

For the most part this hotel was great. The staff was super nice and the location is awesome, right in the middle of the ... strip so you could go in either direction for more casinos. I wish they had more restaurant options and especially somewhere that was open 24 hours, I mean you are in Vegas. The rooms were clean and tidy but it was a little noisy at times. Overall it was a great time:-)

We Expected Better Service

Kathy Nov 23, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

We like the Flamingo, but it was a little disappointing that it took forever to get waited on. We suspect that due to the ... economy, they may have reduced the number of staff. We were also hoping to get a few better deals cost-wise, since many people aren't going on vacations due to the economy. That wasn't the case for us.

needs good housekeeping

shannon Nov 20, 2009

The room was a dump. When we got there we had no towels in the room and no glasses and no liner for the ice bucket adn no ... shampoos or soaps. Also no alarm clock or coffee pot. The only thing housekeeping has done was make the bed, I hope the sheets were new, not sure. The room smelled like someone just smoked a joint in it and the nightstand was filled with stripper advertisements. I guess housekeeping overlooked that too. On the second day I still has no glasses or ice bucket liner, even after I called and asked for them. So I found the maid in the hall and got some. I thought for the price the room would be outdated, but it was worse than i thought it would be. After going to the other newer hotels, I will definately spend an extra couple of hundred to stay somewhere else. Also I just got a call from Hertz, which rents cars at the Flamingo. They said I needed to return my car, which I brought back the same day I rented it. I parked it in the same spot and put the paper work and keys in the afterhours drop box. When I called Hertz 1-800 number, they said theyed check into, probably just behind on their paper work. Today is Friday, I turned the car in on a Tuesday. A lot behind I'd say.

Entertainment tip, Long Walk

Carrot Top was worth the money, he was great! My wife didn't really want to see him, but after the show she was glad we did. Buy your tickets from the places on the street, like the one at Bills gambling. You don't get half price, but you will save a good bit of money.

The rooms were average. I beleive we were in an older section of the Flamingo. It could be because we requested a smoking ... room. The location was great!

Flamingo Las Vegas

Dan Nov 19, 2009

Would recommend to a friend!

Our stay at Flamingo was fantastic. We asked for a room upgrade and where even able to get an executive suite for the price ... of a regular suite. The room and the view where spectacular. We played blackjack most of the time in the Casino. And we played at many other places, both on the strip as well as on Freement street. But none of those places where nearly as fun to play as the Flamingo. The dealers where having tons of fun with the players. They where dancing and singing, and playing along with us, when we would tip. We had a great time.
