Dining

Hamada of Japan
For nearly a decade, Hamada of Japan has been a Las Vegas favorite for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Carlos'n Charlie's
Carlos'n Charlie's is where you can go to get loose, get loud and get some potentially valuable photos of your friends doing the same thing. Sure, we have some amazing food and the best drinks in town. But let's face it, we're really all about fun. So if you can't have fun, you can't have dessert, and you don't want to miss what we can do with a can of whipped cream! Feel free at Carlos'n Charlie's.
Sin City Brewing Company
Especially on a hot summer's day, there's nothing quite like a hand-crafted, microbrewed beer. That's exactly what you'll find at Sin City Brewing Company's second location, at the fabulous Flamingo.
Paradise Garden Buffet
Watch the playful antics of live penguins and flamingos while enjoying a fresh feast at the Paradise Garden Buffet. Enjoy a scrumptious salad and fresh fruit bar along with mounds of shrimp on ice, Alaskan crab legs and seafood salads.
Pink Bean
Serving freshly brewed gourmet coffee, espresso and cappuccino, Java Coast also offers sandwiches, desserts and Nathan's Famous hot dogs (southwest casino location only). Both locales offer indoor and patio seating.
Lounges
Even Bugsy Siegel liked to take a break from the action from time to time - and the bars of the Flamingo proudly honor this tradition. From a laid-back lounge that looks out to our Wildlife Habitat to a bar where gamers gather in the middle of the blazing casino floor, the Flamingo Las Vegas is packed with refreshing options.
Tropical Breeze Cafe
This 24-hour casual dining restaurant overlooks the beautiful Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. Cuisine is traditional American fare with an extensive array of appetizers, pastas, soups, salads and home-style entrees. Enjoy a fresh breakfast or stop in for an afternoon snack.
Margaritaville
"Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place." The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, five distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000 square-foot retail store. The menu reflects the flavors of Jimmy Buffett's island travels.
Beach Club Bar & Grill
During the summer months, guests can grab a light snack or relaxing lunch at the Flamingo Beach Club Cafe, with a front-row seat on the sparkling blue waters of the Upper Pool.
Center Cut Steakhouse
The menu features steakhouse favorites such as the 20 ounce rib eye and the 24 ounce porterhouse, made with all natural premium beef sourced from Aspen Ridge Farms in Colorado. The beef is provided by cows that are born and raised solely in the United States and are 100 percent hormone and steroid-free. In addition to mouth-watering steaks, the menu offers a wide variety of seafood dishes and other exquisitely prepared entrees such as the ultimate steakhouse Kobe burger and rack of lamb. Rounding out the menu is an assortment of delicious salads, sides and desserts.

My review of Flamingo Las Vegas

was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- it was really only one long block to Downtown Disney and there were restaurants very close

Enjoyed My Stay!

The Flamingo is close to being centrally located on the strip. Shopping areas, alternate dining choices are a short walk away. Staff is very friendy and helpful. Although my room was in the older part of the Flamingo, it was comfortable and quiet. No comlaints, here. Upon check-in, I was asked if I wanted my room to overlook the pool area or the strip. That was a first!

Great location, but drop the extra cash for a renovated room...

Trying to do Vegas on the cheap, I took one of the non-renovated rooms. Problem is that at this hotel, the older rooms are really old - like early 80's old. The location is great, and I didn't mind the older room, but I at least expect it to be clean.

Do not get a standard room!

My standard room was nasty and had a giant leak from the tub faucet. If you like the sound of flowing water to put you to sleep, this room is for you! If you stay here, I would suggest the go rooms.

excellent hotel for the money

The Flamingo Hotel location was fantastic...right in the middle of the strip. Only downside was that I got there on October 29th and the pool closed for the season on the 30th! Oh, well, I'll just have to get there earlier next time.

room location and cleanliness

Room was right next to elevators and quite noisy. Room had been only superficially cleaned-trash under the beds and behind night stand between beds. Certainly not what we expected for the price.

Clean and Comfortable

The Flamingo was a clean and comfortable room that served it's purpose (place to sleep, wash & keep your stuff) very well. The staff were all courteous, and if you need a place that is family friently (which we personally did not), then the Flamingo seems to be a good place to go. Our only critique of the Go room was the white pleather headboard and the sliding glass door on the bathroom. Granted, the door is frosted, but it's still a bit odd. None the less, that's a design issue and just sort of is what it is. I would stay in this hotel again!

The Flamingo is surprisingly large. They have some great gift shops for all ages, and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville restaurant has some really good food.

Dirty Carpet

While the location of the hotel is convenient, other factors shold be considered. The hotel rooms we used, left much to be desired. Now I must admit that we chose the economy rooms, but I would take that to mean an unattractive view (ours was of another roof and noisy AC units), and perhaps something smaller with a standard bathroom facility. There is no excuse for a room with filthy carpet, very dated wall and bed coverings, and a general dirty shabbiness of the place. There wasn't even a coffee maker in the room. Tsk Tsk Falmingo. The Staff on the other hand was nice, and the buffet/restaurant was very nice.

The Forum shopping at Ceasars is really nice. And of course the Bellagio fountains are awsome.
