The Flamingo Las Vegas has become part of the landscape here, with its neon Art Deco features decorating Las Vegas Boulevard since 1946. Hugely famous for its longstanding headline act, Donny & Marie Osmond, you can also test your fortune inside two gambling arenas – the main 77,000 square foot casino and the smaller Margaritaville Casino, designed with island decadence in mind. Combined, there are more than 1,600 slot machines and a wide range of table games, so there are plenty of chances to strike it rich. Whether you win or lose, tuck into food from around the world at the Flamingo, from sushi at the Hamada of Japan to traditional American dishes at Steakhouse 46.
Location
The Flamingo Hotel & Casino is situated between Bally's and Harrah's, with easy access to the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. Located center-strip, guests of the Flamingo are close to all the exciting Las Vegas action, and there's also a Las Vegas Monorail station on the property for getting a little further afield, such as taking a trip to the Las Vegas Hilton or Las Vegas Convention Center.

The menu reflects the flavors of Jimmy Buffett's island travels.

mother daughter get away

this is our first time staying on the strip. we had always stayed downtown. But we thought we would venture the strip. heard the Flamingo was remodeling, so we decided to give it a try. will definitely go back never met such courteous gracious staff in my life. everyone acted as though they were our best friends. only issue even small was the fact that the bathrooms are a little small and little outdated. being a non smoker I appreciated the good ventilation in the casino area. something up we will go back.

Go for the location, not amenities

The price of the room was great and the location on the strip can't be beat...my big beef is the resort fee for the wi-fi and pool. Wi-fi was the slowest and the pool was so crowded there was absolutely no where to sit down, people were lining the rims of the pools with their towels for a spot, meanwhile, the 'reserved' lounge chairs sat unused unless you paid. This was a Monday afternoon, not a Saturday They have not convinced me of the value of a resort fee. They have found a way to monetize every aspect of the hotel, which leads to ultimately a poor experience (no checking in before 4 p.m. leads to huge line, pool experience).

Good and bad

Our stay at the Flamingo was disappointing. 1) terribly overcrowded. 2) elevators not working well, long waits 3) bag check understaffed 4) Not enough seating anywhere in hotel - lobby, hallways, Habitat, pools. 5) buffet open until 2:00, but several breakfast items removed before 11:00. 6) Closest ice machine not working. Only good to mention was Habitat - delightful except too few benches.

Perfect for a party weekend

My friend and I stayed at flamingo for 3 nights while in Vegas. I liked flamingo a lot. The pool is one of the best on the strip, and we checked out most of them. It's always busy, great djs, and multiple bars right by the pool. Certainly wasn't too rrowdy like some of the pools where you couldn't even get in without getting bowed. Lots of different resturants in the hotel as well. The room was nice but the bathroom was obviously old, marks on the bottom and the corners of the shower and bathroom were dirty. We paid for a delux room so we definitely expected a nicer bathroom. The rest of the room was clean except our bare feet got SO dirty from walking on our floors...which were wood. There is no microwave, fridge or coffee pot, and no breakfast Buffett so that was a little inconvenient. Staff was helpful, and overall I was happy with the stay. If you're in Vegas to party and not in the room that much, it's a deal.

The hotel was outdated inside our room, outside was fine. Lobby was small and check-in line was long and slow @ 4pm!!! 6+ elevators, but it seems only one works!! Long wait to get on the elevator. We stayed for location to our needs.

You Get What You Pay For

Having stayed at The Flamingo years ago, I was excited to go old school, save a little money and have another good experience. I was way off! The Flamingo is a good deal for a reason. It is an excellently placed, yet aging hotel. It is attempting to stay up to par with surrounding Vegas hotels by offering an adults only pool scene, big name acts, etc. but when all is said and done...you get what you pay for. The elevators were scary old and did not work well, not to mention that there was garbage in every single one, every time we had to use them. The rooms were ok and had a cute pink theme. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms overlook Drai's pool club which can be heard until 3a.m. (despite wearing earplugs). The pool scene was incredibly obnoxious and more crowded that you could ever imagine. Even as a guest of the hotel, you have to wait in a line at 9a.m. to enter and then every single space is taken. Not just every chair, but every inch of every pool's perimeter was lined with towels. The pool's themselves were cloudy and God only knows with that many people what state the water was in. If you are in your 20's, want to get wasted and listen to a DJ all day with your fellow wasted friends who are also on a budget...knock yourself out. This place is for you! The casinos were fun and what you'd expect from a low budget hotel casino. Great people watching. In my opinion, spend an extra $100 and stay at a cleaner hotel where you might actually get to enjoy the pool scene.
