- A special room for those traveling with four-footed friends! Please note that dogs must weigh 50 pounds or less each and be present at the time of check- in. Up to 2 dogs per room are allowed. Dogs are permitted to walk through designated common areas while on a leash and accompanied by the owner. Check in time for PetStay rooms is 4pm; dog owners must be prepared to accommodate your dogs until your room is ready. Dogs are the only animals allowed under the PetStay program. Dogs must be kenneled or out of the room during housekeeping. Overall...our stay at The Flamingo was fine. We were put in an older roon (some have been updated) and were told at check-in no regular rooms available so would we take a handicapped accessible room...sure why not. (Ironically, our travel partners checked in after us & got a regular room) Well, the bathroom was the only thing modified. The tub removed & it was like YMCA shower. There was no where to set the soap, no shower curtain & nothing non-slip on the tile floor. I just about fell a couple of times. The rest of the room was fine. The elevators were a bit icky..peeling paint, missing trim, etc. The service was great but they really need to update a few things to stay a good moderate hotel.

Great price and location
There were two of us, mature mother and adult daughter and we loved our trip. We are not much gamblers but we enjoyed a few excellent shows and even went on an hellicopter excursion which was terrific. The Flamingo is so well located, we could walk everywhere and there was so much happening all around. It was a great vacation.

Eating in the Casino/Hotel on the strip can get expensive and the portions are enormous. We went just a few miles of the strip to some shopping malls and found good restaurant for a much better price.

flamingo hotel...
the room was not cleaned when we went in. it was a total mess. beds were barely made and the bathroom had water all over the floor and by the sink. no one had checked it at all. we asked for the room to be cleaned up twice and nothing ever happened. even after reporting a leak in the sink - they did nothing. and i know that the flamingo is one of the older casinos, but this was horrible. i expected more, especially for the prices that we were charged.

flamingo hotel
Hotel not very good pricing for tours very expensive. Did offer though discount on one the featured shows at the hotel. No security around the pool area which made us feel unsafe. Good location downtown to walk to places.

I enjoyed stying at the Flamingo,I was travling alone so I enjoyed the feeding of the birds.The location is great.Cabs were always right there for me.I was across from Ceasers Palace and walking distance from the Venetian.I could walk to just about anyware.Cabs were not so expective it was a deterrent.I have no hesistation in going back alone

ENJOYED MY STAY
THE HOTEL STAFF WERE SOMEWHAT ACCOMIDATING. WHEN I TOOK A SHOWER, I NOTICED THAT THE SHOWER CURTIN WAS MOLDY AND I LEFT A NOTE FOR THE ATTENDANT TO PLEASE REPLACE IT. WHEN WE RETURNED TO OUR ROOM LATER THAT EVENING,THE CURTIN HAD BEEN REMOVED BUT WASN'T REPLACED. WE CALLED GUEST SERVICES AND ASKED FOR ONE TO BE REPLACED. WE WENT OUT AGAIN AND UPON RETURN THERE WAS A FRESH CLEAN ONE REPLACED. I FEEL THE ATTENDANT FORGOT TO BRING BACK A CLEAN ONE,BUT WAS PLEASED THAT IT WAS TAKEN CARE OF. PERHAPS THE SHOWER CURTINS SHOULD BE REPLACED MORE FREQUENTLY, OR INSPECTED BETTER.

Great location. It's right there
Great location. It's right there in the middle of all Vegas happenings. We were even given an upgrade which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended - especially if you book your room way ahead of time.
