Caribbean-inspired Strip legend and home to Donny and Marie
One of the pioneer resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, the no-resort fees Flamingo Las Vegas has kept smart pace with the times since first opening its doors in 1946. The 15-acre, Caribbean-inspired pool playground and Wildlife Habitat with its gorgeous wedding gazebo remain unique attractions at the Flamingo. - Pet Stay Room
- A special room for those traveling with four-footed friends! Please note that dogs must weigh 50 pounds or less each and be present at the time of check- in. Up to 2 dogs per room are allowed. Dogs are permitted to walk through designated common areas while on a leash and accompanied by the owner. Check in time for PetStay rooms is 4pm; dog owners must be prepared to accommodate your dogs until your room is ready. Dogs are the only animals allowed under the PetStay program. Dogs must be kenneled or out of the room during housekeeping. - Ventuno Ristorante
- Ventuno Ristorante is closed in December for remodeling. It will reopen as "VOGA" on December 28th with a whole new menu and an exciting new look. The Ventuno counter will remain open during this closure.

In newly remodeled room - no hot water & poor A/C
For 3 nights, we stayed in a newly, remodeled, "Go" room. The first night was the start of our frustrations. No hot water in the shower, not enough check-in/out staff to promptly get us through the line, pool didn't open until 9 am, air conditioner wasn't strong enough to cool the room (even at night with the blinds closed), and the bathroom wasn't remodeled (only the living area). Overall, it wasn't a pleasant stay. We won't return.

Great location at a good price
Great central location on the strip. Situated less than half a block off the strip. Room was clean and large, with a good view of the pool area. Very nice pool area. Pool area was quite crowded at times, but large enough to still allow one to find a spot. Casino was not especially fancy, but still nice and lively at all hours. Took over 90 minutes to check into room. Entered line with approximately 50 people in front of me. Majority of the time hotel only had one person performing the check in process, which was frustrating. Hotel room was a very long walk from the elevator.

Enjoyable stay, with nice choices in the hotel for eating at moderate cost (at least for this city). The pool area was fantastic though extremely crowded. Registration was a long wait, but staff were nice and helpful. The room was average and could have been a little more updated. Overall, would consider staying there again as the location was perfect for us at a reasonable cost.

Right on the Strip
This was my first time in Vegas, but my boyfriends third. We were going to be there for 6 days so I wanted to see as much as I could (but realistically there's always going to be more that you won't get to). The hotel was in a good location on the strip and it was extremely easy to walk out the front door and enjoy what the Vegas strip had to offer. All the staff at the hotel were more than friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. Their shuttle service to and from the airport was cheaper than paying for a cab and more convenient. The Flamingo's casino isn't as jazzy and glamorous as some of the other casino's but it's just as fun in my opinion. There are some small shops as well as a smaller sushi/hibachi restaurant (among others) called Hamada which was excellent. Best suggestion is to register for the Gold Card as soon as you get there... yes, even if you don't gamble the card is worth it for the coupons and discounts you'll receive back... and it's free so why not?!? Rooms were comfortable and clean as well as competitively priced. I would definitely stay again.

Wicked Spoon- buffet was about 20 per person, but well worth the money. Food was abundant and gourmet - something for everyone and all of it was amazing!

The room was not very well maintained. We were there for four days and the rug in the room was never swept. The assortment of towels and wash cloths would vary. One day we only received one towel. the also still use glass glasses. These need to be changed to plastic to insure that they are clean

Wish I was a Showgirl
Great place to stay
I think my only complaint about the Flamingo is that it's parking structure is rather far from the casino itself. But that is really no big deal, unless you have a lot of luggage and have to make several trips. Centrally located on the strip, convenient for club hopping and sight-seeing. Friendly & helpful staff, there are great shows offered at the Flaming, too.

Great location, dated digs
The staff was great and the location couldn't be better. But... Value is relative, and compared to the three other hotels I've stayed at in Las Vegas, this has to be the least bang for the buck. The hotel has history and it shows. The casino is dated, the rooms are "just okay". Also, vinyl flooring in the room? Really?
