Overview

With its colored castle turrets, Dungeon arcade room and courtyard pool, the Excalibur Hotel Casino from MGM Resorts International hits all the right notes with the kids. You can even dine in the Steakhouse at Camelot, but if you re after something a little more global, marvel at the generous portion sizes at Italian Buca di Beppo!

Checked in fine, The next morning there was a lot of noise from the next room, so I called down to the desk and something happened to the bathroom pipes in that room, so they moved me to a different upgraded room.

Amazing first trip to Vegas!

Would recommend Mon, Jan 18, 2016
This was our first trip to Vegas and this hotel had been recommended. It was such a view arriving to the hotel like arriving to a big medieval castle! The casino is amazing and everything is affordable including the slots and tables in comparison to other hotels further up the strip. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned everyday and unfortunately in this cleaning one of my boots was taken from the room :( The hotel dealt with this is a really professional way but it was still really disheartening to leave my other boot behind. We will definitely return to this hotel as it's location and price cannot be beat. :-)

Slots and resort fee

Would recommend Sat, Jan 16, 2016
Resort fee is a rip off. $140 for five nights is a bit steep.. and also a big dip in funds on arrival. The payouts on machines very poor this time around. We've been here a number of times and this was the worst. The room was spotless we were in the royal tower and as they are updating some of the rooms it was noisy at times.

Can't wait to return!

Would recommend Tue, Jan 12, 2016
This was my first trip to Vegas and I loved every minute was! The hotel was fab! It took me days to get around it and actually find everything. We upgraded out room to a Tower Room (I think) it wasn't much to do so (less than €20) and was well worth it. Our room was huge & spotless! Location was great, directly across from New York hotel and the MGM, also connected to the luxor hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit as the price was definitely right!

Good Budget Hotel

The hotel side is a bit tired, but when in Vegas, you don't spend much time in the room. If you are looking for cheap & cheerful, then no issues.

Right on the Strip

Would recommend Thu, Dec 17, 2015
The Excalibur is very close to all the nightlife hotspots and best sport watching venues in Las Vegas and has a super food court located on 2nd floor level. The rooms are spacious although a small refrigerator and microwave would make it a 5 star rating for amenities. The fitness room has the best equipment to rival most standalone gyms and the water cooler has the coldest water in all of Las Vegas I would not doubt. The staff are extremely courteous, from the check in to the concierge to the cleaners to the security. All very nice people. One huge minus to this and all the other M-Life family of hotels is the Resort Fee which is and additional $29 per day separate from the Room Rate. They say it is for using WiFi, Fitness Room, and receiving daily newspapers but in the old days these were all standard amenities for even the lowest budget motels. Were it not for this fee, Value for Money would be 5 star rating instead of 3.
