Fantastic Stay

To be honest while the weather was wild, windy, and cold, there was plenty to do indoors. The buffet was decent enough, Arcade was fun, and Wow, their Tournament Dinner and Show was awesome. They also had a showing of the Bee Gee's very enjoyable. The room on avg, was very nice, loved the bathroom. Though the hair dryer was broken, we didn't need it. Of course it may take some time into getting used to knowing where you are still finding our choices of activities was manageable and very relaxing. Mind you with families this is a casino with lot's of smoking.

Last time at Excalibur

I booked into this Hotel as I had stayed there previously, wish I hadn't bothered. Despite requesting non-smoking rooms and this being granted, we were put on a smoking floor. The room was very dated and seriously in need of updating. Sink in room kept backing up every time room above used their sink. They had workman take a look but still had the problem. Maid service was awful. Didn't make the beds on the first day, didn't clean second day and didn't hoover room all week. They charge extortionate room fees but only give one days worth of drinks/discount vouchers instead of each day that the fees have been paid. As Hotel is in the cheaper range it now attracts the less desirable crowd, smelt of cannabis in most of the hotel. Buffet food was very overpriced, served luke warm at best, with a limited range of poor quality food. Shops onsite ridiculous prices, over $5 for 1.5l water. Would not recommend this hotel or stay here again

Winter retreat

My wife and myself were definitely impressed with how little sound was audible in our room. There was ample availability to the slots that we wanted to play. Staff was great. Even the staff on the floor selling show tickets were very respectful to you. If I wasn't interested, they did not pressure me to buy. Overall. I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only suggestion I have is to make availability to the other resort tram system easier to get to. This would reflect greatly that you care for your visitors.

Excalibur Experience

The hotel was very nice. The rooms are ordinary but you're only there to sleep so it was good. The dinner show was a fantastic experience & the buffet upstairs was incredible! The staff were very helpful with any queries. The only thing we didn't like was being accosted everyday by staff trying to get you to go to a 3 hour timeshare talk just to get cheaper tickets to the show. They are situated at each end of the hotel by the doors & we soon learned to say 'Been there, done that' & keep walking. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Excalibur

The Excalibur is getting up there in years and the room was a little "retro". The staff did offer us a newly renovated room for a slight additional fee which we did not take. The swimming pool was amazing, there are 4 of them. All in all a great experience on a budget.

Probably won't go back

The Excalibur was a good value for your dollar, but in Vegas with so many places to choose from there a few areas this hotel could improve. The pool hours and amenities needs a lot of improvement. Both my husband and I couldn't last more than an hour in the pool lounges and still be able to walk. The pool was open 9-6 only. My guess staffing issues which equals cost same with rec area. It's the town that never sleeps. The shower in our room didn't drain and view didn't exist. I paid extra for an upgrade to stay in tower 2 not sure if it was worth it. I've been to Vegas several times and not been this disappointed in my stay enough to write a review.
