At the fantasy, castle-themed Excalibur, there's something for everyone in a setting that's fun and friendly, not fancy. Kids will love the Tournament of Kings dinner show, Fun Dungeon arcade and remodeled year-round pool with a waterslide. My review of Excalibur
Check-in and check out was fast and the staff was very frienly. The room was good size, not to large neither too small. The beds were confortable, clean and the room was cleaned on time every day. They even called us to know at what time we wanted the room to be cleaned and beds made, since we usually got up quite late. There was a bed spread that was not clean, but they changet it as soon as we asked. We were over all impressed with the attention. The only negative part was the swiming pool: there are not any facilities to change clothes. You have to do it in the bathroom or walk all the way, by the casino to and from your room in your swimming clothes or buy the services of the gym and sauna, which cost $20.oo per day, something that yoeu do not want to pay for only a place to chang clothes to get in the swimming pool. In addition you have to walk barefoot on the pavement from the chairs to the swimming pool, because there was no place to leave your sandals. Otherwise we love the the Excalibur.

GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
THIS HOTEL IS OKAY BUT WE HAD SOME PROBLEMS THAT DID WORK WITH US TO MAKE THINGS BETTER. ALL IN ALL I THINK FOR THE MONEY YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE ON THE VEGAS STRIP. THE BEDS ARE NOT BAD BUT YOU CAN ONLY TAKE A SHOWER THERE ARE NO BATHTUBS. THEY CHARGE YOU A DOLLAR A DAY FOR A PHONE IN YOUR ROOM SO IF I WAS TO EVER STAY THERE I WOULD TAKE THE PHONE OUT OF MY ROOM AND TAKE IT TO THE DESK SO I WOULD NOT PAY FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT WANT NOR NEED. THE LOCATION IS GOOD I THINK THAT IS WHAT I LIKED THE BEST.

My review of Excalibur
The room was clean and comfortable. They had a large flat screen television. The bathroom was quite large. This was the first hotel that did not have a coffee pot with coffee and tea in the room. The hotel is right on the Strip and was very convenient. They did have a ridiculous telephone policy. There is a charge for the room telephone regardless if you use the phone or not.

Overall, good, and we would stay here again. Would prefer a separate space for the vanity and bathroom. Room and sheets were clean, but bathroom walls were questionable in spots. Room and hall was nicely quiet.

CENTRICAL AND COMFORTABLE
THE LAS VEHAS EXCALIBUR WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND CENTRICAL. THE RROM WAS CLEAN AND CONMFORATBLE. IT WAS CLOSE TO ALL THE PLACES I WANTED TO VISIT AND IN GENERAL I HAD A GOOD TIME.

Time Shares/Buffet/Tables
The only disappointment was the people standing around trying to sell you a time share. No matter where in the hotel someone was trying to sell you something. They call you over saying that you can get show tickets for free and then they want you to go look at a time share. No thank you, we are on vacation and this is not what we want to do on our vacation. The prices are a little high for the buffets. A family of 4 who would like to eat at a buffet would cost over $80.00. There should be more $5.00 minimum priced tables (Blackjack) to play at. We notice that the few tables at $5.00 were full and there was a lot of tables empty at the higher mimimum bid tables.

My review of Excalibur
Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Maid service was excellent. Pool area still under construction and far from our room (opposite end of hotel). The hotel seemed to be more family oriented than adult couple friendly. The dining area was a very nice added feature. The hotel location was perfect.

Nice accomodations
The Excalibur Hotel, LasVegas was a pretty decent hotel. We upgraded our room once we arrived to a pool view room. The only complaint I have about the upgraded room was that in the bathroom the sink was situated too high where I had to tippy toe to rince my mouth and there were no rails in the shower to hold on to. I slipped twice getting into the shower. There was no bath tub in this room which was not an issue for us. Besides the bathroom, the room was fine and the hotel staff was nice and helpful. All-in-all our experience at Excalibur was a good one.

Ask the front desk about the 24 hour $6.00 bus that will take you up and down the strip of LasVegas all day. Last but not least, ask about the transportation to and from the airport.

THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND CLOSE TO THE ATTRACTIONS--THE ONLY THING I DIDNT LIKE WAS THEIR WAS NO COFFEE MACHINE IN THE ROOM.
