At the fantasy, castle-themed Excalibur, there's something for everyone in a setting that's fun and friendly, not fancy. Kids will love the Tournament of Kings dinner show, Fun Dungeon arcade and remodeled year-round pool with a waterslide. Ladies will be tempted by the Australian hunks of Thunder From Down Under, as well as the13,000-square-foot Royal Treatment Spa. MY FAVOURITE HOTEL
This hotel is well located at one end of the strip with easy access to all areas. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The casino is large enough to keep you interested but small enough not to feel overwhelmed by it. Staff are helpful and happy to assist if necessary. Food in the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Have seen Thunder from Downunder and Tournament of Kings, and both shows are good value and very entertaining.

Good for the kids. It was our first time to Vegas with kids and the Excaliber was a great place for the kids to stay busy, eat, and walk the strip.

Madaig
A couple of troubles
The overall experience was OK but I did had a little trouble with the restroom, it was not flushing and draining properly (both, toilet and sink) so I had to call the management. Also, house keeping was partially done as everytime I came back to the room, there was trash on the tables and restroom. The only thing the maid cleaned was made the beds and superficially cleaned the restroom.

Plain Room but great location
The room had no coffee maker and was on par with a La Quinta Inn. You don't go to Vegas to spend time in the room and the bed was fine. The staff didn't know the answer to most of the questions we had but we managed.

The bed was comfortable and the room was relatively clean. Vegas has really turned trashy over the last decade. The ventilation didn't come close to filtering out all the smoke so the hallways/casino smelled like an ashtray. They should add the "$15 pool/spa fee" to the advertised price when it's to cold to use that area. They may as well change the theme to little Tijuana or the China seas to better represent their customers. Seemed old and cheap not having a microwave, coffee maker, or mini fridge in the room.

Disappointing
3.5 star rating was more like 1 star. Hotel and rooms are dingy/dirty. Rooms do not have bath tubs - showers only.
