Not bad

Hotel smells a litte odd when you walk in the front door, kind of a musky smell. It could do to have some money pumped into it but it's not a bad hotel for the price and rooms were ok.

Christmas time at Excalibur

We had to re-assigned to another room because the TV in the first room did not work at all, and there were many stains with big red with a purple ring around it on sheets and comforter. We got re-assing to another room with a great view. This room did not have comforters so we called the front desk which they bought blankets. Later we found out there was another red stain. It was small enough that we covered with a bandage.

great value

We only spent the night but the room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. It would be nice if there was coffee in the room, but it was still fine.

Great experience

The Excaliber greated us as if we were their friends, Every amenity we needed was promptly provided. Upon our arrival we received a room 2 hours before normal check in...that certainly helped as we were very tired when we got there. My wife needed an electric wheelechair scooter the whole stay and they quickly provided one for her. We toured Las Vegas while we were there and enjoyed several nice attractions such as the "Titanic" exhibit at the Luxor, the "Mob" exhibit at the Tropicana and the exquisite show "KA" at the MGM. We did some gambling and dined like "Royalty". The only problem we noticed in visiting the other Hotels is the odor the Excaliber had. It had an funny smell that was very different. Most all the other Hotels we visited did not have this odor. However, all the Hotels in Las Vegas that we visited...including the Excaliber...were all designed with a "dark" theme...very dark and "closed in". The Hotel we liked with the best "lighter scheme" was the TROPICANA. We felt very relaxed and open there. The folks there were very nice too. The only real complaint I had about the whole trip was that...on one of the flights back my wife and I were separated in different rows even though I booked the tickerts 2 months in advance. This has never happened before. But like I said before...it was a great experience. Thanks to all who made this happen!

Never Again. Over 1300$ item stolen from room

A very valuable and expensive item was stolen out of my room and the hotel claimed they are not liable for this item. Housekeeping also came into my room without knocking. If you want to keep all of your belongings and sense of security, best bet don't stay here.

it'l do

ive been going to excalibur every for the las vegas marathon since 2004. Every year it seems to get worse and worse. I must admit I do keep going back because of the price and location (marathon starts at manda lay bay but is way cheaper than manda lay bay) They dont even alow the bell boys to take luggage to your room anymore!? Hope they get it together. but if all your looking for is a place to sleep thats close to the strip, than excalibur isnt a bad deal if you can get it for the right price. And the employees are nice, you can definitly tell theyre trying, seems like theyre are just beeing held back by new rules.
