At the fantasy, castle-themed Excalibur, there's something for everyone in a setting that's fun and friendly, not fancy. Kids will love the Tournament of Kings dinner show, Fun Dungeon arcade and remodeled year-round pool with a waterslide. The Excalibur looks great from the street but that's where it ends. This hotel is very tired at best and needs a full makeover. The ventilation through the casino is poor and as a result it smells terrible. The pool area closes at 5 pm. What is that about? The area was full of people and most other hotels keep their pool area open until 9 or later. The rooms were dingy and a sheet of plywood would make the beds more comfortable. Spend a few dollars more and stay somewhere else.

Bad experience
First day of my stay when I retuned to my room I found that my pearl necklace was missing from my bag. We complained at the front desk and requested that no one should enter our room on the rest of our stay. We were told they would investigate this incident.Next day when we came back to our room, someone had already madeour bed (very poorly), then opened my bag and put back my necklace between my clothings. Needless to say I will never go back there o recomend it.

The adorable couple
weekend getaway
The excalibur is a fantastic location. Although it is on the south end of the strip, everything is still walking distance (unless you are in heels, then that requires a cab). The rooms weren't spectacular, but it did include an up-to-date flat screen tv. The internet provided was "ether net" which wasn't compatible with my pad. All in all, it was a cheap room in a decent location. O and a plus, the pool is open everyday of the year - at least that is what the staff told me.

In Hotel
If youre looking for a good deal on food, go for the $36 dollar all day buffet. It begins at 7am and ends at 10 pm. You can go all day, even if that means 8 meals, they don't count. Also you can go to BOTH the Excalibur and Luxor buffets since they're linked. Dinner included sushi, New York steak, and even desserts like tiramisu.
