At the fantasy, castle-themed Excalibur, there's something for everyone in a setting that's fun and friendly, not fancy. Kids will love the Tournament of Kings dinner show, Fun Dungeon arcade and remodeled year-round pool with a waterslide. Can't beat this price on the strip
If you want o gamble all night, this place in LV is great. Room is pretty comfy and better than 3 star hotels in other cities. Best bang for the buck when I booked my stay in Vegas.

What a holiday
The Excalibur is perfect for a vegas getaway, check in was fast and the staff where very hepful. Rooms where big and beds very comfy and we stayed in tower 1 which is not the renevated one every talks about. Rooms cleaned everyday and the staff where always pleasant. Bathrooms nice and large and good powerful shower to wash those hangovers away. The purpose of our trip was for a friends 30th, now ive been to Vegas i dont know how any other destination can live up to this. The location of the hotel is the far south end of the strip with easy access to other hotesl like NYNY, MGM and the Luxor. Personally i think this end of the strip is better and has better options for the younger crowd. Casino was good but to be honest i dont gamble much as i find it a little on the boring side asnd vert unsocial if your sitting on the slots as you just keep hitting the buttons, we prefered to prop the bars up :). All in all i would recommend the Excalibur for a care free holiday without it costing a fortune, id much rather the extra miney for spending over there.. :)

Not bad
Hotel smells a litte odd when you walk in the front door, kind of a musky smell. It could do to have some money pumped into it but it's not a bad hotel for the price and rooms were ok.

A couple of troubles
The overall experience was OK but I did had a little trouble with the restroom, it was not flushing and draining properly (both, toilet and sink) so I had to call the management. Also, house keeping was partially done as everytime I came back to the room, there was trash on the tables and restroom. The only thing the maid cleaned was made the beds and superficially cleaned the restroom.

The hotel was clean, just very dated/old. If you really want to enjoy Vegas, spend few extra bucks and stay at Mandarin or Cosmpolitan, which would be a much better experience.

About 5-10 minute cab ride, awesome Indian food at Indian Masal in the food court of Riviera hotel. Very affordable.
