Hotel was generally great. Restaurants, etc very good . Only complaint (minor) was passages on NON smoking floors smelt of smoke, presumably smokers coming out of rooms to smoke.

Business convention w/ family
The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and I love that the shower was not a tub/shower combo. The only negative was the food in the dinner buffet was just mediocre for the price. But, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel
It was a nice, clean hotel. I was confused because the rooms didn't have comforters on the bed though..? (Just sheets). I woke up in the middle of the night very cold, but I'm sure if I had asked I could have gotten a blanket or something. Overall, nice place & worth the price!

Not to bad.
Was greeted by time share sales that made me feel like they actually work for the hotel and were welcoming me to the hotel, but that was not the case. Got checked into room fine and there were no comforters on the beds, just sheets. Called the desk and they brought us some general blankets for the end of the beds no comforters kind of strang situation. Ad said updated rooms the only thing updated was the counter top in bathroom and the flat panel TV, everthing else was still 1980.

Not impressed
There are only two good things I can say about the Excalibur hotel. First, the valets are great! Second, the cigarette smoke was not that bad for a non smoker! Okay now the bad. We needed a disabled room so they upgraded us to the "widescreen" room since that was the only one available in tower II. This was clear across the hotel on the opposite side. Not very convenient for a disabled person. I wonder how bad the standard room was since I was not impressed with this so called upgrade. The room was old and the bathroom was kinda dirty. I found a thumb tac on the floor in the bathroom and trash was still in the trash can. The tv didn't work, we had to call twice to get that fixed, but for $29 what do you expect? Also the buffet was terrible, not worth the $20.

mediocre
average hotel, average amenities, good location but no decent strip view from the rooms. Our room had icky stains on the bedding and it was a hassle to get them replaced. The water pressure in the shower was terribly low.

i had a great time at Excalibur!!! i love the castle theme! i like how close the hotels are for viewing. we walked next door for the Bodies exibit. if your feet are good, you can walk the strip to most anything. i will stay at Excalibur again! we even won some money at the casino! i like that there were options on food on the 'castle walk', that saved us a little on food. thanks Excalibur!
