Located next door to flagship property Wynn Las Vegas, Encore is a distinct destination with its own repertoire of accommodations, culinary offerings and leisure activities. Central to Encore's fanciful and intimate atmosphere are sunlit corridors with flowering atria and sprawling pools visible from throughout the property. Natural light floods the resort to reveal vibrant butterflies, signature mosaics, textured environments and elegant detailing.
A refuge of sophisticated chic, the 2,034 suites offer the ultimate luxury of space in a comfortable, residential setting. They feature floor to ceiling windows with dramatic views, thoughtful detailing, advanced technologies and timeless design.
In keeping with the culinary standards set by Wynn Las Vegas, Encore's five signature restaurants pair our master chefs with personally-prepared gourmet fare to create culinary experiences prepared to please the most discerning and well-traveled palates. Whatever your pleasure, the restaurants at Encore don't just satisfy your appetite - they entertain it. Added to the array of imaginative cuisine cooked by the chefs themselves, are the unusually imaginative new restaurant environments at Botero, Sinatra, Switch, Wazuzu, and Society Cafe Encore.
The Esplanade is retail therapy with offerings in clothing, shoe, jewelry, home décor and accessory stores. A vaulted avenue, the boutiques span the timeless classic of Hermès to the edgy new Rock & Republic.
Legendary nightlife entrepreneur Victor Drai expands upon the chic social scene with the premiere of a new club concept at Encore, aptly titled "XS." The poolside ambiance mingles with the nightclub's decadent vibe to create an oasis at Las Vegas' most exclusive address.
Offering moments of contrast to the energizing pace of Las Vegas, the Spa and Salon provide yet another experience of comfort and elegant ambience, designed to emphasize the "treat" in treatments.
If creating the distinctive guest experience is an art, Steve Wynn's newest masterpiece is an Encore. The environments attempt to be unlike anything anywhere-uniquely Wynn, now distinctly Encore.

Encore complements Wynn Las Vegas' repertoire of accommodations, culinary offerings and leisure activities with 11 new retail outlets, seven cozy bars and lounges, five signature restaurants, one ultra-chic nightclub and an opulent spa and salon.
Star Chef Mark LoRusso creates beyond-the-curve steaks, chops and modern cuisine as bold and voluptuous as the Boteros that grace this poolside space. The hip lounge scene gives way to a high energy outdoor experience that extends deep into the night.
Acclaimed Chef Theo Schoenegger creates a culinary homage to 'Ol Blue Eyes featuring modern riffs on classic Italian cooking - all served in a gorgeous space brimming with Sinatra charisma.
The denizens of cool are gathering at Las Vegas' newest hotspot, where Chef Kim Canteenwalla's wildly imaginative American cooking makes even three square meals hip.
Dinner is theatre at Switch - Chef Marc Poidevin's unique, French-inspired seafood and post modern steakhouse where the ambience may change as much as the flavors through the course of the evening. Switch will not only satisfy your palate - it will entertain it!
What's up at Wazuzu? Simply the delectably innovative pan-Asian cooking of rising star Chef Jet Tila. This dramatic café showcases his deft touch with Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Singaporian and Thai cuisines.

Comfortable suites and a quiet casino
Just Married Dec 31, 2009
The room was fabulous. Although it was not the right temperature for swimming, the outdoor pool area looked wonderful; most ... of the time, it was closed for maintainence, so we couldn't even stroll through the gardens. Limited shopping and very expensive. Dining in hotel also expensive. This hotel is at the end of the strip, so you might want to rent a car...it's a couple of miles from the center of the action. We enjoyed going to Red Rock Canyon (very short distance away). Also drove to West Rim of Grand Canyon, but next time I'd go to a different section and take a bus. Much more to do in Vegas than just gamble. Great shopping everywhere. The hotel casino was low-key; easy to find room, and I won a small jackpot on the slots, so they do pay out. Would like to go back longer during warmer weather.

Christmas decadence
Dban Dec 29, 2009
The rooms were beautiful, suite-ly spacious, quiet and luxurious. I took time away from the gambling experience just for an ... amazing bubble bath with an extra deep tub, TV in the bathroom, and sumptuous toiletries. The staff were terrific: the guy who stocked the mini-bar, the room cleaners, the housekeeping staff, and the casino bartenders were all super friendly and fun. The concierge didn't want to tell us where to eat off the strip - but since the Wynn/Encore had superior dining (listen to your waiters!) it was hard to find fault with that. Overall, we had a great time, and would love to be able to stay another week if not forever. Here's what I didn't like: $30 a day to use the pool or the gym; $25 a day for a mini-fridge for the room; $14 a day for internet access; and no coffee machine in the room. These things made me feel resentful towards a hotel that was trying to suck every possible dollar from their guest's pocket. The robes weren't great, but the bed made up for everything - sleep apnea, insomnia, sleepwalking all disappeared and we slept with the angels in the perfection of total comfort. Also of note, one of our party was older and struggling with a bronchial ailment. For the forty-somethings walking was not an issue, but for her just trekking through the casino was an ordeal. Anyone with sensitive lungs or minimal stamina should know that the casino next door may be 15 minutes away. And for slot players - the slots definitely seem to be tighter here than downtown.

We bought all of our show tickets through Tix4Tonite. They have several locations on the strip and we were able to get reduced tickets for as little as half the price. Also, our hotel was just across from the Fashion Mall, which had a food court for inexpensive meals (ie KFC, Sbarro, Panda Express, etc).

Was a nice relaxing trip to Vegas, Encore@Wynn was most comfortable you can get in Vegas at decent price. The decor was ... amazing, rooms were clean and nicely kept. One thing I would have liked was to have complimentary coffee, that is what I missed most from other hotels, otherwise its excellent.

Classy, great service
Alex Dec 25, 2009
The newness of the Encore is evident of it's beautiful decor. The Asian motif of dark reds and bold black accents throughout ... are in good taste. The rooms, lobby, restaurants and casino are spectacular. There is easy access to the Wynn and the food service is phenomenal at both hotels. We found the lunch buffet to be less expensive than that of the Mirage with far superior food choices. The one negative: if you happen to get a "downtown view" (facing north) you'll end up looking at numerous abandoned construction projects. Always ask for a South/strip view and w/some luck they'll move you w/out cost as they did for us after 2 nights.

We love window shopping the classy shops most of the Hotels have to offer. However on this, our 3rd visit, we discovered that the very large 'Miracle Mile' shopping Mall, located near Planet Hollywood and frequented by locals, offers some great pricing and variety.

STaceyC Dec 25, 2009
The rooms are beautiful, but they tried twice a day to add about $80 in mini-bar charges, which we NEVER touched. Each time ... the charges showed up, they had to send one of their staff up to verify that we didn't consume anything from the mini-bar...this happened 6 times. A little annoying. Also, charging $30 per guest/per day to use the fitness center was an outrage.

Outstanding hotel but beware...
Race Dec 25, 2009
We stayed that the Encore due to the terrific amenities and the relatively low cost. However, I was shocked that a five-star ... hotel charged for necessities such as wifi access. The hotel was spotless but the surroundings, both people and structures, tended to be pretentious. If you do not wear designer clothing you will feel awkward and will receive sneers even if you are wearing moderately high end apparel. You immediately are immersed in a "holier than thou" culture when you arrive, so traveler beware if you don't enjoy being part of the elitist set.

My only complaint was that I upgraded to a panoramic view of the Vegas Strip and found that the WYNN hotel blocks Majority of ... the Vegas Strip view and My room wasn't ready when it was given to me. I had to wait for 2 hours before it was taken care of. Other than those two instances I enjoyed the Hotel. The room was enormous-700sq. ft. Bed was firm yet conformed to your body (very comfortable w/ remote lighting and drapes at bedside). Encore is expensive and caters to the Affluent. I suggest stay there but eat and entertain elsewhere. The show LE'REVE was great.

Greg Dec 21, 2009
Everything was great for the hotel and service. My only complaint is the hotel is far on the North strip away from most of ... the action. Also, not the best area at night. Major con was the very small in room safe in the wall. It was only about 5 inches deep. You could barely get a laptop and camera into it. What a beautiful and place to stay. The Christmas decorations were magical. Too cold to use the outside facilities , but ... they looked inviting. Not a golfer , but from our window saw it and it looked like a great place to play. Didn't use the pool or spa due to a short trip this visit and very cool weather, but definitely planning to return to try them out. [...] Great food and drinks. what is nice about this hotel is really you never have to leave it , and still have a great time between entertainment, gambling and outdoor pool. The waterfall and landscaping is truly awe inspiring. wait staff and doormen were helpful and polite.
