Wallet Stolen

This is a beautiful hotel. However a word of warning. Do not leave any of your valuable belongings or room keys in the room even when locked. My friend's room key was taken from the room by a staff member/cleaner and was used to re-enter the room and steal my wallet. Hotel security investigated and found out what happened but nothing was done and I lost a significant amount of money and credit cards etc.. I wouldn't expect this from a hotel of this calibre.

Horrible Proffesionalism by Casino dealersand pit bosses

Every dealer and pit boss was rude. If you do not bet enough they make fun of you and tell you to go to freemont straight. basically if you are not betting 100's of dollars a hand they do not want you in the hotel.

Not Impressed

Stayed at numerous hotels in Vegas. This is one of the most expensive providing you with nothing but looks. I have stayed at 5 star hotels that provide at least a little coffee pot for coffe and use of refrigerator for any bottled water you may have (they provide neither). Beautiful, but if you want a little more for your money stay at the Trump. Will never stay there again. Housekeeping was very friendly but front desk and security staff were mediocre.

Fancy hotel, but not great service.

We were quite disappointed to find out upon check-in that two beds in a room would cost $50 more per night, even though our receipt said we had paid for either two queen beds or one king. We complained to the front desk, but they refused to help us out. In one of the rooms, loud music could be heard in the middle of the night. The other room was missing an ice bucket, but housekeeping quickly brought us one when we called. We were pleased to learn we had a $50 hotel credit for food/drinks, but we didn't realize that each room had $50 until we checked out and it was too late. The hotel was very nice and clean, but very cold (probably one of the coldest on the strip). The location wasn't as good as we would have preferred, and I don't think we'll stay again.

Avoid the Denny's that is just North of the hotel. The service and food were horrible.

Average

We were two friends, men in their late 20s spending a few days in Vegas. Encore is recognized as the best hotel in Vegas right now, and one of the most recently built facilities. We stayed in a regular room with double beds. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, in a modern way, unlike some other tacky hotels in the city. The hotel personnel was not consistently nice: they did their job but they did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They need to work on that to deserve their 5 stars in my opinion.

Dining tip: In Hotel

La Cave has excellent food and service. The buffet was good but the line was ridiculous: 4-5 hours to get in. It was so bad that hotel staff distributed bottles of water. For $15 extra, you can get the "VIP" package and skip the line, which in my opinion was definitely worth the extra money.

Perfect Stay on the strip:-)

Wynn and Encore provides everything you will need during your stay. They have varieties of top-star restaurant, which is the best part during your stay. We stayed in the connecting room (King and 2 queen) strip view, which is perfect for family stay:-)

Fantastic hotel and staff

Everything about our stay was fantastic, the only reason I'm not giving them five stars was because of the "resort fee" you can't avoid, even if you know about it ahead of time and don't want what it gets you. It's $25 + tax so all in $28/night. I think it covers internet and the gym, two things you're probably not using too much if you're doing Vegas right, but they said you can't avoid it unless you're part of a business group or something. Seemed pretty petty for a resort that was already charging us $350/night. Service was impeccable, room was spotless, location is great, pool is fantastic, can't recommend the experience more.
