Good for the price.
We came for a soccer tournament, and to play poker at the Orleans. Saved $70 over the Orleans, and the two bedroom suite gave us more privacy. Clean, comfortable and quiet, pleasant staff. 200 yards to the Orleans poker room, closer than the room we had last year at the Orleans. The FREE airport shuttle was a surprise, it is not listed in the website.

The Orleans has a good steak restaurant - the Prime Rib Loft, and also has a Subway for healthy sandwiches. Also a busy poker room with some low stakes tables -2-4 limit, etc.

good location for the price
the price for the location was really good. it was only .5 mi off the strip so we avoided the business of the strip and when we needed to take a taxi anywhere it wasnt too expensive. the rooms were kinda small and the pillows werent comfortable and the sun woke us up in the morning since there were no curtains in the bedroom. the pool was small and nothing exciting. its very inexpensive here, so i guess you get what you pay for.

taxis not too expensive since you can take back streets and its not too far from the strip. or just go across the street to the orleans and take their free shuttle to the strip.

Good price
The service was great. The few things that were wrong in the room (plumbing leak under sink & TV remote not working) were quickly fixed. The spa was being repaired during our stay, which was disappointing. The cookware in the kitchen was very limited--no pots/pans & only 2 each of silverware, plates, etc. Overall..it was fairly quiet & I'd stay there again.

Business Women on a budget
Good Buy
Only complaint was the dim lighting (4 women trying to put on makeup). Went and bought brighter light bulbs 2nd day.

great if you dont need to take a shower.
Hotel was nice. Rooms were smaller than in the pictures. Kitchen was stocked with dishes. It was a cozy lil room. The only bad thing was there was no hot water (in a lot of the rooms from what I heard when I checked out) which really didnt work for me. The main reason you stay in a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep and shower. I ended up taking a cold birdbath. The hotel offered no compensation at all. Just an apology. Also there is no sofabed it is just a couch!!! Just a lil note for people who are expecting one.

Good location. Away from strip .
Parking was about 10 feet from rooms. Smoke free environment. No large lobby. Speedy check in and check out process. Having a full size kitchen was very helpful. Because I came from California, I brought along a cooler with enough food for meals for the duration of my three night stay. Thus I saved on meals. Therefore I spend absolutely nothing on food.
