Good Value
The "room" was actually 2 rooms, with a kitchenette. (Stove, full frig, and basic cooking utensils) The rooms are a bit ... dated, but were clean. The beds were nice. There is a small pool, and a laundry. They also have 2 bedroom units, so it is great for families.

This property is just a short drive to the strip, because it was New Year's Eve, we were able to see the fireworks even from the property at 1/2 the rate we would have paid on the strip.

OK but hoped for more
There was not an on site restaurant. The fitness area was nice, but someone vandelized it on the 2nd night stay. The room ... was very clean, but needed updates. It appeared that numerous people "lived" on the property, and the people that were coming in and out of the "lived" in rooms did not make us feel very safe. Overall, it was OK, but I am not sure I would stay there again.

This hotel was very nice the only thing that bugged me was when it was a day before checkout housekeeping continusly knocked ... on the door asking if we were checking out and our checkout day was the next day it was annoying when we are trying to sleep. Other then that it was fine as long as you are not on the first floor.

Spolied the trip
While reserving specifically asked for a non-smoking room. Guess what we got, a smoking room and it stunk. It was too late ... when we checked in to go back and change it. The other room the heater did not work. I had the place for 2 days and checked out after the first day.

Super trip to the NFR/Bull Sale
Not a casino glamour but great location and the staff was super! They guided us in with directions, greeted us cheerfully at ... the front desk and got us in our room super fast (even had an upgrade to a two bedroom suite!). And when one of the TV's didn't work, they smoothly moved us to another room. Would highly recommend this for families traveling as they have full kitchens (no, not a kitchenette but a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, etc!)

Nice Place to Stay
This hotel is away from the crowds of the strip, but because I was in Vegas for non-strip activities that was just fine. The ... suite was spacious and clean -- quite impressive. The bed was comfortable and the hotel provides dishes, pots, pans, etc. that you need for cooking should you choose to do so. My only complaint was that the towels were not very soft and really needed to be replaced because they were getting a little threadbare. Otherwise, a nice place to stay and one that I would pick again in the future.

a bit dissapointing
Got there and found that our "guaranteed" room was not available - they did upgrade us, and it worked ok - but the bathroom ... was NOT handicapped accessible. had to park a good distance from our room due to lack of handicapped marked spaces/ramps up the curb. made for a long walk to our room. internet did not work - called support number posted in room and were told this hotel was not supported...

Not bad
Came in to town for the Marathon and talked to 3 different people about getting a shuttle to the start line. I had a car so ... it wasn't a big deal, but was told multiple times they would accommodate me. 5 a.m. race morning I showed up for the shuttle and was told by the man working the desk that they don't do shuttles at 5 am. This was after I was told that the night before by the receptionist and the night before that by a different receptionist. He then asked me who told me as if I was lying???? I told him I didn't know the names, but the last person who told me was the driver the night before. I think he took it upon himself to try and get this Deon guy in trouble because I heard the next day Deon was in trouble. They ended up giving me the shuttle once he saw I wasn't lying, but it left a bad taste in my mouth on what would have been a great stay. Might shop around a little more. Everyone else there was very professional including the driver who dropped me off near the start line. Only other complaint was that when we called at 11:30 for a noon pickup we did not get back to the hotel until 1:40 after I paid for a half day rate until 5. They need to have someone behind the desk organizing the shuttle not the lady shuttle driver who was very nice, but scatterbrained. She shouldn't have to be on her cell phone answering calls and organizing pickups in bad traffic.

It was fine
We checked in at 2 am the the female desk clerk allowed us an additional hour to check out. We were on the third floor and ... had just returned from the Islands and had tons of baggage and security kindly lugged it up three stories for us. Our potty misbehaved and when I reported it, the male desk clerk said he knew, and he was rude about it.

the long and short of it.
The room was clean and a great place to stay for a midget. I,m 5'11" and my feet hung over the edge of the bed. The tv ... remotes did'nt work. The bathroom was an engineering marvel I did realize you could fit a bathtub and a toilet in such a small space. The pool and hot tub was the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel. On the plus side the small rooms and pool matched the small price.

Emerald Suites - South Las Vegas Blvd.
At the very lower end of the strip, & too far to walk, so best to stay here only if you are renting a car. Very clean room. ... Business center in lobby is very convenient. Did not use pool, laundry or exercise, room but also a plus. Rooms have kitchen with full sized appliances so you do not have to eat out every meal. I think this is my only hotel experience where I not only received a visit from hotel staff after I went to my room, but also a call to make sure I was happy with the room!
