Never again

The good - the front desk staff were friendly, the hot tub was working correctly, the breakfast was good. The bad - refrigerator had been turned off, water all inside, TV's had to be reprogramed and batteries in remote replaced, coffee pot leaked, one of the towels looked as if had been used as toilet paper, 2 of the 3 mornings no hot water to shower. took 3 staff members to figure out how to connect to the wifi.

Comfort first

It was great to have enough room to stretch out and to work comfortably. Both my husband and I had work to do between meetings. The meeting room suite was perfect. The only issue was that there was no taxi stand outside the hotel. There was always a lag time in catching a cabe to get around.

Call your own cabs! The hotel used some type of central booking which was slow.

Buisness

I thought the room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good and the managers happy hour was great. Would stay there again.

good but not great...

Embassy Suites has great rooms, and a wonderful breakfast. However, the pool was broken with no heater, the towels were nowhere to be found, and the hotel was busy...

Nice alternative to the noisy casinos

Our suite was spacious and well appointed, a good value for the price. The Embassy Suites free breakfast can't be beat! The shuttle to the strip runs every hour, and was a convenient way to get to the action. The last one is at 10:30, so you may have to take a cab home, but that's about $10. The only thing I would change is the wireless internet charge. Really? If Starbucks can do it for free, surely Embassy Suites can too.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

By taking the shuttle, and getting the $7 all-day bus pass, you can cruise the strip to your heart's content without taxi fares or the hassle of driving.

"The Best"

We usually stay on the strip when we work conventions but never again. This hotel has the best value and is in the best location. The free breakfast buffet and the free drinks and snacks at night make the price of this hotel the best value in Las Vegas. When you stay on the strip you don't even get a coffee pot and you have to buy a cup of coffee for around $6. The walk to the convention center was very manageable and the weather is often quite nice in February for walking.

Ellis Island - we did not have the time to go here but had friends that enjoyed it so much they went 3 nights in a row. Food is very good and reasonably priced. They also have karaoke with regulars that are very entertaining. Not far from the Embassy Suites but too far to walk.
