Good for the price

Good for the price. Sad there was no pool to cool off in the 100+ degree heat. Just a short walk to Fremont Street Experience. Heard sirens all night long.

Need to rebuild the old quarters

The rooms with numbers like 5500 and up should be demolish, old, poor lighting, small, thermostat for AC only as a prop. Plenty of parking but no direct access to the hotel needs to use valet service all the time, staff super friendly. After a little complaining was given another room on the Towers very modern an on Impeccable shape. The person that saves this trip for being a total fiasco was [...] 2nd shift receptionist. Only way in is trough casino. The entire building smells like a giant ashtray even on the no smoking rooms(people are allow to smoke all over the place and the elevator shaft serve as a chimney bringing the smoke from the casino on 1st flr up to all other flrs. Location is on downtown LV about 3 miles from the strip and modern major casinos. Only 2 blocks away from Fremont St. No pool!!!!! You get what you pay for.

Three quite different price ranges for same food if you come in from the street or don't have enough points on your El Cortez Club card be prepare to pay same as on the strip. Use all the cupons given and you will save about $50.

Good deal

We were sceptical because of the unbelievably cheap price, but the idea is to get gamblers to casino. So, if you don't gamble, this is the best deal in Vegas. Located next to Fremont St. experience which is cool and inexpensive part of Vegas and you can take a bus to the strip right next to the hotel 24/7.
