worst place to stay in vegas
We stayed in the skyrise tower. There was a washcloth from a previous person left in the shower and the room smelled like smoke. The view was good but we tried to spend as little time in the hotel as possible. Compared to other hotels, this one was very slummy. However, if you are basing your hotel choice on price alone, we got a great deal to stay here.

Review of Circus Circus, Las Vegas by Ken Huntington
I was staying at the Manor portion of the Hotel - not in the main complex. Overall, the experience was positive but I was wondering what it would be like to stay in the main complex. The Manor portion did seem a bit run-down and there was distinct and not terribly pleasant smell in the hallway. The room was spacious (2 queen size beds) and the room was in good condition. It had the regular ammenites... altho instead of bar fridge it had a wine cooler... not so good for cooling the beer I was hoping to drink. There was free WIFI but I seemed to have a problem getting access in the MANOR. When I got on the main campus, this was resolved. Not sure what the problem was. Water pressure in the shower was VERY good. On-campus, the facilities were very nice, with lots of stores and the attraction of the fun park. It was a kid friendly place. We enjoyed breakfast in the buffet. Overall good quality / if normal buffet. Staff in all areas were very friendly and courteous. The pool area was pretty small but was not overcrowded. I would return to Circus Circus again but it would primarily be a price based decision.
