Under the big top, more family fun awaits

Few legends have endured like Circus Circus Las Vegas, one of the longest standing mega-resorts on the Strip and the only one to boast the world's largest permanent circus. Value is the buzzword here along with the slogan, "Act your age somewhere else." The renovated West Tower rooms will impress with their comfort level and modern touches. Entertainment includes free circus acts daily, games, an arcade on the Midway and Adventuredome indoor amusement park. The casino includes a race and sports book, poker room and unique revolving slots areas.

Highlights

  • Adventuredome, a 5-acre indoor amusement park with 25 rides and attractions
  • High-tech video arcade, old-time fair games and free circus performances daily at the Carnival Midway
  • Legendary THE Steakhouse, an award-wining steakhouse for nearly 2 decades
  • Only RV Park on the Strip, convenient to the Circus Circus Manor Motorlodge just behind the main casino

Location

  • At the crossroads of Tropicana Road and the Las Vegas Strip

Rooms

Spacious West Tower rooms at Circus Circus Las Vegas have been updated with modern design, 32" plasma TV screens, marble counter tops and more. Skyrise Tower Rooms have more ornate decor in a building with two pools, while Casino Tower Rooms offer Strip views and are closest to the gaming action. Larger 434 square-foot rooms offer more amenities.

In the separate Circus Circus Manor Motorlodge, 810 guestrooms at 351 square-feet with convenient motor lodge parking are connected to the casino by a moving walkway. Circus Circus Las Vegas also includes a KOA RV park. Wi-Fi Internet access included in resort fee (see below).

Good enough...

Circus Circus is a good value on the strip. It's a bit too far away from the heart of the strip for my taste, and it's theme is a bit outdated IMO... but it is a good choice for the money. It's an economical alternative to the central strip, especially on the weekend rates.

Great Hotel

This hotel is great if you plan on gambling at their casino and is right across the street from Riviera's. It is somewhat secluded from the rest of the strip i.e. Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Mirage... So we had to get a bus pass to enjoy these places. The strip is much bigger than Google maps makes it out to be, so be prepared for a long walk. Overall the hotel was clean and very modern on the inside.

If you don't have a car, get a bus pass. These things run 24/7 in case you need to get somewhere quick.

not planet Riza ( from Star Trek) but definitely affordable

it's a huge old place and it's on the other side of the main Las Vegas strip so you can't just walk out and and see all the other buildings and shows by foot. you will need a bike or a taxi or a rental car. the staff didn't clean my room or make my bed or take out the trash once and i was there for five days. it takes a few days to really figure out the layout because things are spaced funny (parking garage vs. two different tower elevators, etc.). the buffet was average, but the customer service was good. there were friendly and knowledgeable people providing discounted show tickets and there was a quick gaming class mon-fri at 1030am. very family friendly place (if you don't mind kids smelling smoke) and very affordable, esp. compared to other big name hotels.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

go see a few shows, but get the discounted tickets your hotel may be able to provide, instead of full price. and once at the show, if you want a better seat, just tip one of the ushers and they'll gladly help.
