Under the big top, more family fun awaits
Opened in 1968, Circus Circus Hotel Las Vegas is one of the oldest hotels on the Strip, and though its classic neon lights are typical of the Vegas cityscape, the hotel itself is modern. Operated by MGM Resorts International, the complex is home to shopping alleys filled with designer fashions, hair and beauty salons, along with its signature trapeze and acrobatic shows. Check in for the evening at the 100,000-square-foot casino, or spin, roll and coast away the days at the onsite theme park, Adventuredome.

Neighborhood

Circus Circus Hotel and Casino is at the north end of the Strip. With all the advantages of a slightly quieter location and the nearby Wynn Golf Club, it's still easy to walk the Strip, and a short ride from the Fremont Street Experience, home of the 'original' Las Vegas sign.

Hints and tips
Traveling with children? Designed with families in mind, Circus Circus packs in many excellent distractions for the kids, including the Midway Carnival, and rides like the Happy Feet theatre experience at the onsite theme park.

If you're looking to get hitched, there's a wedding chapel onsite.

Satisfactory for the price.

The hotel was satisfactory for being cheap. There are lots of families and kids - because it is targeted towards families - so if you are an adult with a preference of not being around children, go elsewhere. I have never been to a hotel with no coffee pot in the room - and also in the lobby - maybe that is the Las Vegas standard. I did not realize there wouldn't be a tub, which I prefer to have.

Entertainment tip: Long walk from hotel

The 99 cent hotdog at Slots of Fun is amazing and huge. Buy the 24 hour Deuce bus pass - you can go downtown to Fremont street and travel the strip for $5 for 24 hours. They run 24 hours.

Circus circus was a great hotel. My room was great and quiet. You would think it wouldnt be quiet becuase of the families, but it was very pleasant. The bed was wonderful!! Very comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the price of the rooms

IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY. THE FEATURES THEY HAVE FOR CHILDREN ARE REMARKABLE. YOU COULD STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR A WEEK-END AND NEVER LEAVE BUT YOU WOULD FEEL YOU HAVE BEEN TO MANY DIFFERENT PLACES. THERE ARE ALSO ENOUGH FEATURES TO KEEP THE ADULTS HAPPY TOO!! THE ROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN. EASY ACCESS TO THE OTHER ATTRACTIONS OF LAS VEGAS TOO.

Uncomfortable

I have never slept at a hotel that had more uncomfortable beds or pillows. The internet was an additional charge. I have never had to pay for internet service at a hotel before. One staff member would say one thing, and another staff would say something contradictory. Management needs to make sure that their employees are all on the same page.

We loved everything about the Circus! Thje staff was great, we had a jacuzzi room, and when the jacuzzi was not working correctly we called the front dest and within 10 minutes we had amitenence there and fixed the problem. This was our first time to Vegas, when we go back this the place we will be staying at again, we would recommend the Circus to all our friends.

the main hotel is great!!

We checked into our room and found out it was about 3 blocks away in what they called the manors. We walked int our room and it stunck it was dirty and we were very disappointed. We decided to complain and was odderd an upgrade for 10 dollars a night we took it and was VERY satisfied it was 100% better than the first room and was in the main hotel. It was very nice and the staff was great too. Our vacation turned into one to remember.

Trip to the Circus

While I've stayed at the Circus Circus hotel before, the value in the main towers is usually not bad, and the hotel even provides some off price coupons for dining or even slot play with your room. The prime rib special is the real deal so large I couldn't finish it and done to order. This trip I was in a manor room, quite a walk from the main walk in the back of the building, while I would have like to be closer the price wasn't bad at all.

Some discount shopping accross the street and of course the Deuce, $2.00 city bus stops in front of the hotel that goes up and down the strip as well as down town for just two dollars!
