Under the big top, more family fun awaits

Check in for the evening at the 100,000-square-foot casino, or spin, roll and coast away the days at the onsite theme park, Adventuredome.

Neighborhood

Circus Circus Hotel and Casino is at the north end of the Strip. With all the advantages of a slightly quieter location and the nearby Wynn Golf Club, it's still easy to walk the Strip, and a short ride from the Fremont Street Experience, home of the 'original' Las Vegas sign.

Hints and tips
Traveling with children? Designed with families in mind, Circus Circus packs in many excellent distractions for the kids, including the Midway Carnival, and rides like the Happy Feet theatre experience at the onsite theme park.

If you're looking to get hitched, there's a wedding chapel onsite.

Needs Refurb & New Buffet Manager

Stayed here since it was kid friendly - Room was average, small TV, no microwave or fridge - bathroom was recently redone, but tub/shower faucet leaked. Room cleanliness was average. Staff was helpfull and friendly, even though this was a very busy time - Desk and valet parking, bellboy all get high marks for trying to accomodate.... Beds were HARD... Buffet - Don't bother!!! - expensive and the food was way below par - Tried it for breakfast and lunch - both bad - never went back for dinner... Buffet service staff were helpful... Outdoor pool was okay - lifeguards, good water temp, but adjacent to highway.. Architecture is dated - Figure it will be razed in a few years and something else (newer built). Kids had fun at the dome inside - rides, games, etc. - Summary - next time we'll stay somewher nicer and stop by the dome with the kids.

Family Friendly

Circus Circus is a great hotel for parents and their children when traveling to Las Vegas. However, if you are looking for a romantic and relaxing hotel Circus Circus is definately not the hotel you want to stay in. I was disappointed with the quality of our hotel room I expected better for the amount of money I paid.

Down the street from Circus Circus is a Tickets4Tonight stand. It is a great place to get discounted tickets to shows, events and dinners for that day instead of paying full price.

Great Stay

We paid the few extra dollars ($6) and got the newly remodeled Tower room. It was nice, had a new flat screen TV and was quiet. We had an end room on the 25th floor. The buffet at Circus Circus is only fair at best and it has gotten quite pricey but it was handy the first night considering that we had a buy one get one free coupon given to us at check in. The location will be better when some of new construction in the area gets done because there will be more places closer by for late night wandering. Also, with Industrial Rd running directly behind the hotel, it is easy to drive around the town and avoid the strip when you wish to save time. So, for the price it was a good value, and I would stay there again if all things are equal.

The Circus Circus Manor is horrible.

I would never ever stay at this hotel again. I didn't know there was a Circus Circus Manor. This was an unforgivenable experience. First they placed me in the far back Manor E. I walked a half mile to the hotel or so it seemed. The pools (2) were small and always filled with children. They closed at 6 pm daily. My room didn't even have a microwave. I will never go back and I am upset you sent me there. You need to stay at these places before you send others there. If you can't visit these places, send someone there to see for yourself. I went for a medical convention at another facility. Have a good day

Great for Kids?

The Circus circus in Las Vegas was just OK. The check in was slow and the lobby and facility was poorly lit, convoluted, and directions were confusing if not nonexistent in the facility at large. The room was bigger than average and relatively clean and comfortable with the best pillows I've had in several trips. We ate at two restaurants - for dinner we ate at the grill and service and food were good with large portions. We ate breakfast in the buffet: quality was mediocre at best, service nonexistent, and we would definately pass if we went there again - which seems unlikely after this experience. Location was supposed to be on the strip which is more construction zone than strip right now and walking was a good distance from everything else with lots of vagrants between us and the main strip.

Entertainment tip: In Hotel

The hotel is loud and boisterous and mostly set up for families with children. While there is plenty for kids to do, it's mostly the younger ones who will enjoy the place.

Very family friendly

Lots of kids, families, nationalities and languages spoken. ASK ABOUT EXPRESS CHECK-IN. They have a specific number you can call an hour ahead and let them know you are coming.... otherwise checkin lines are EXTREMELY long. Some elevators go to some floors and some go to others....ask for specifics about which goes where when you check in and alternatives to the West Tower bank of 8 elevators if appropriate for your room location. We spent about 30 frustrating minutes navigating the elevators and crowds trying to get to our room. No room services after 12:00 noon (none for dinner )The Garden Grill will make good sandwiches/burgers to go. Enjoyed buffet at breakfast and dinner, line at Krispy Kreme goes surprising fast, Pizza place is New York style and cannot buy by the slice. Enjoyed food at Casino Cafe twice, however hit a snag with kitchen service time at breakfast despite informing server we had a shuttle to catch, resulting in missing the shuttle. Staff at store which serves alcohol/beer/full bottles of wine kindly offered to open bottle for me so I didn't have to purchase $7 corkscrew. Most staff generally friendly, front desk staff a bit robotic, staff at pizza resturant less friendly. Lots of folks roaming around trying to get you to buy a time share. Deuce (bus) stops right in front of Slots o fun. As of 3/08 $5 pass lets you ride all day. Very crowded when we visited. Takes a long time to go from Circus Circus to south end of strip. More pleasant on top floor, great view from front seats. If you go to Freemont Street, pickup is a block away from drop off.... ask before you get off. It was fun to go to the end of the south line.... better able to get front seats. Was on bus watching sun set and light come on. We used Monorail some to avoid crowds... more expensive ($9 for all day pass) but more peaceful. Must get to Sahara or Hilton to catch monorail: a good long walk to either or can catch the bus in front of the Riveria to Sahara. Monorail at BACK of hotels, long walk to the Strip. Checkin and shuttle pick up at the back of the hotel, Casino and tour bus pickup at the front of the hotel. Price to use internet in business center steep but while there, I heard that others using kiosks had trouble printing boarding passes and had to call outside the hotel for assistance, so seems the safest choice. Printer set to print each boarding pass on a separate page, increasing cost. Had a king bed at end with good view of Stratosphere (and the closed bungee jump along with LOTS of construction.) Big room. TV swivels from sitting area to bed. Hair dryer, ironing board and iron in room, vanity area outside bathroom. No vent in bath. Had to search for thermostat (found near bed). Staff respected do not disturb sign. Overall enjoyed stay and would stay again.

If you are planning on takeing the kids a great place. want to get away from the kids try another hotel. The first time we stayed the kids didn't really brother use that much but this time there were just to many. But then again you dont go to vegas to sit in your hotel room do you. This time the bed was not the best it was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. food was very good. nice big bathroom. room was nice size for 3
