Located three miles south of the Las Vegas Strip, this professionally managed luxury resort offers tasteful amenities to discriminating travelers, presented in contemporary Mayan design. The Cancun Resort is perfectly situated near the threshold of the heart-pounding, non-stop excitement and glamour of the renowned Las Vegas Strip. Twin Creeks Steak House at Silverton (across the freeway) has very good prices for such an excellent restaurant

Not a bad resort.
Room and kitchen was little small for a timeshare resort. It sleeps 6, but there isn't even enough seating in the living room for 6 people. Nice pool and water slide. Probably would not stay there again.

If you like taxis...
The resort itself was beautiful and had all the amenities that the website showed. The website had stated that there was shuttle service and there was none. I ended up spending way more on taxi service than I had planned. If you have your own car or rent one and know the area, then there would be no complaints. I took my daughter here for her 21st Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The taxi service left a little bit to be desired-namely, the cost and not every driver was "friendly".

Amazing!!
Love, Love Loved it! This was the most Amazing hotel/resort I have ever stayed in. The room was like a small apartment with a master bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom had a very large Jacuzzi tub. There was a living room, full kitchen with a dishwasher and a dining room. There was even an extra bathroom with a shower.The bed was very comfortable and felt luxurious. Was nice that it was off the noisy strip and that it was a non-smoking facility. Only bummer was water slides were down the first day we were there and the ice machine on our floor did not work. Other than that best trip we have ever taken. I forgot to mention the price was very reasonable.

Not a hotel, don't expect service
This is a time share, thus they don't make beds or clean the room or have pool drinks service or taxis in the driveway

Worst Vegas hotel experience
My groub of friends traveled to vegas for spring break and just wanted to spend time at the pool gamble and enjoy the night life but to our disappointment it didn't go so well because of Cancun Resort. We were led to believe that they had a shuttle that would pick us up from the airport and also shuttle us to and from the strip they didn't irregardless of what there web site said. They also were not motivated to help us out with any other type of transportation, so we ended up spending extra money. Thats not the worst part of this hotel, its the staff. We were at the pool curing a hangover, and well we didn't bring our wallets down with us and while the maid staff cleaned our room they also cleaned out two of our female friends wallets, totaling over $300 cash in stolen money. Not to mention the fack that the main pool was in disreppair and closed. And again the hotel was not willing to help out in any cappacity besides saying they were sorry. All in all i think that Cancun Resort is a horrible choice for anyone looking to have a relaxing vacation in Vegas!!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Awsome two bedroom!!
The room and property were very nice. We just loved the rooms. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Two bedrooms with beautiful bathrooms. Each one had a whirlpool tub. Flat screen TV sets in the living room and berooms. DVD player in the living room and a RedBox is located at the Food 4 Less just down the road. There is underground parking but a bit limited if you leave around dinner time you probably will not get a spot. No big deal though, plenty of parking in the lot. The bed's were very nice King in the master and Queen in the other. Super comfortable! The pool area and water slides were very nice. Many cabanas and shade areas with hammocks. There is a fitness room but I thought this could use some improvements(updated machines and room is pretty small). Finally, we were a little concerned that we might be hasseled by sales reps trying to get us into a timeshare. We did not hear a single word from anyone regarding timeshares units in 6 days we were there.

There is an outlet mall close but I would recommend the Town Square shopping area. It's a little farther drive but nicer shops and dining. Movie theaters, etc.

Well worth it!
This Hotel is very clean and nice. located far enough away from the main strip so that it isn't conjested and yet very accessable to all activities. the staff was helpful and pleasant and the rooms services were great. i will stay there again, without a doubt.
